“We are a couple aged in our eighties and, in recent times, made the very difficult decision to downsize and move into a Retirement Village as we do not have children to look after our interests in our old age. The enormity of this project was overwhelming - especially with regard to making decisions on what furniture to keep and what to sell, décor, etc. We had a number of large antique items and were moving into a small unit. Fortunately an acquaintance of ours referred us to Joanne Byrom who made life very easy for us. As we were extremely busy preparing our home for sale and had no time to search for furniture, Joanne made a number of visits to our new unit, measured wall space, recommended keeping some of our antique furniture, and mixing it with more modern items. Joanne ordered the new furniture and also arranged drapes and blinds and selected the colour scheme. We sold our home in record time and, thanks to Joanne, made a smooth transition into our new unit. A number of friends have visited us at our new abode and have made some very complimentary remarks on the décor. We would recommend Joanne to any potential client.”
