Alistair McLean

Home Builders in Hobsons Bay, Victoria

“I have a mid 70's cream brick home which is a little tired and dated. I want to update the kitchen, family/meals, outdoor living, and laundry. I contacted Secret Design Studios to arrange a Dr Retro home visit. I provided Alistair some photos, and a plan of the house and a list of what I hoped to achieve beforehand. Alistair noted that the family room had 5 entry/exit points and made suggestions to improve the flow of the room. His suggestions will increased storage space and provide significantly more bench space. The laundry currently opens into a living room and he suggested some changes that will allow both internal and external access bypassing the living area. The rear deck is dated and poorly designed and he made suggestions to improve this area. Alistair came up with some 'out of the box' suggestions that I hadn't even considered, ideas that will improve movement around the living area, provide more storage and modernize the look without detracting from it's character, which is what I wanted. Alistair also researched home values in my area and tailored his suggestions to ensure that I avoid overcapitalizing.”

18 December 2024

“We engaged Quadrant Design in December 23 to help design a better indoor / outdoor flow for our property. Tony helped us define what would suit our lifestyle best, drew up detailed plans and helped us through the council permit and builder selection process. We are extremely happy with the outcome. We would recommend them to our family and friends.”

“The Provision Building Group has delivered a beautiful house to us this last December. It is a modern style and it is totally beyond our expectation! We had a wonderful experience building with the Provision Building Group. We felt that we have been guided all the way from the beginning till the end of our build. We were so impressed with our site manager. He was professional and extremely helpful, the process was so seamless. Bruce has been very good to us, constantly communicated information and answered most of our queries, etc. We were especially impressed with the timeline, our home was built within the agreed time frame despite the Covid 19 pandemic and Christmas break. We cannot recommend Bruce and Provision Building Group enough! We can’t thank enough to Katherine and Bruce as they have been very supportive all throughout the process. Very happy customers.
