About Us

8Design Lab is a multidisciplinary design consultant based in Brisbane. We were established in late 2016 as the consultant of luxury retail project management and interior design for private residential, retail and hospitality projects. Our prevailing enthusiasm in Interior design from concept to implementation along with a dynamic design that delivers client's wish with our professional input. We skilfully utilise our international experiences and expert knowledge of period and modern design languages to create unique planning to deliver well crafted interiors for our clients' needs. We provide services to our clients at different stage of the project: new build, interior fit out, soft furnishing, artefacts, artwork and styling.

ANDREW HOGG - After graduating in Glasgow with a B.A Degree in Interior Design, he has been worked in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. In Australia, he worked extensively on retail, healthcare, restaurant and residential. CAROLINE LEUNG - Graduated in Interior design (Diploma) and Fine Arts (B.A and MFA) degree. She has been worked as interior designer in international interior design companies in Hong Kong for commercial, residential and hospitality before joining the luxury branding as the project manager and designer.

8Design Lab are exceptional designers. They came up with fabulous ideas for my open plan living space, which went beyond simply decorative solutions. They offered a number of different options and once a plan was decided upon, they provided detailed, scaled drawings for wall paneling, built in bookcase and entertainment unit. I highly recommend them.

It was great and lucky that 8DL as a project consultant of my Bottega Veneta Aus projects. Caroline, one of the key person in 8DL and with her experienced, considerate and creative design ideas, we got our projects done successfully. Her follow through with the entire project is also a main reason that we chose 8DL.

I have had the pleasure working with 8Design Lab on Tory Burch's first store in Australia located in Westfield, Bondi Junction. They were hired as project manager for this project because they have very extensive experience in the industry especially in the APAC region with internationally renown retailers. Their in depth understanding of interior design, project managent and retail environment made it possible to complete the project within an almost impossible timeline with exceptional professionalism. Through this experience, they have successfully landed and delivered Tory Burch's second project in Australia, which is located in Westfield Sydney. I highly recommend 8Design Lab for any fit out projects if you are looking for a team of professionals that delivers excellent results.

We invited 8DL as our consultant because of Caroline’s extensive expertise in luxury Branding over 15 years. She was the in-house project manager of Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Dior PC and IWC (Hong Kong) with her designs of Loewe were being launched in the Asian Pacific region. I highly recommend 8Design Lab for their creative solutions and professionalism to deliver outstanding results in all areas of retail, hospitality and residential projects.
