The beach house we purchased on the Central Coast has a large central pavilion space with high ceilings and we wanted to make the most of the existing design by choosing furniture that would be stylish, comfortable, somewhat industrial, have a pop of colour and be minimalist. We knew our taste but we really needed someone to help us choose pieces of the right scale and design to make it all work. Anoushka is extremely creative and innovative as well as being professional and organised. She is very pleasant and friendly to work with. We are extremely happy with the process she guided us through and we have an end product we are enjoying living with.

This is the third time Anoushka has worked with us on our homes (and also with an investment property). This latest project was our home in a warehouse style townhouse. Our first home was a small inner Sydney terrace. Anoushka has a great sense of style and I am amazed at how flexible she is in adapting from style to style. She brought out the best in our properties and still allowed the end result to feel very much like us. She is a delight to work with and is very responsive and accommodating. She sets realistic expectations and sticks to an agreed budget. Anoushka is a great problem solver and is very efficient. I highly recommend her for any home design and project management associated with related construction .

Anoushka was absolutely brilliant providing us with both interior design and decoration services. We would have made some key design mistakes and likely would not have been satisfied with the end result were it not for her guidance and advice. Anoushka respected our individual style but also added her own professional touch to ensure that we didn’t go wrong. Anoushka was super detailed and took away so much of the stress in the design process. She was always available to run ideas by and offered creative alternatives which we never would have thought of. Working with Anoushka has been a great experience. During the design phase, she was professional and patient, guiding us to consider interesting directions for our home renovation. I engaged Anoushka from SmartSpace Interiors after a recommendation from a friend, to help “refresh” the house we had just bought. Living overseas meant we needed someone trusted and reliable to coordinate works in the house and we couldn’t have been happier with the service provided by Anoushka and the final result. Anoushka helped us to select paint, carpet, floorboards, wardrobes and other cabinetry, blinds and curtains, being respectful of our budget and providing us a range of options to choose from. She then project managed each stage, making sure the work was completed to the highest standard with great attention to detail. She went above and beyond often making suggestions for improvements for things we wouldn’t have considered. Anoushka is professional and communicative, and provided us a detailed plan and regularly updated schedule of work to be completed. She regularly sent updates through email, messages and photos keeping us abreast of progress. I look forward to working with Anoushka in future when we undertake more extensive renovations.

Anoushka was fabulous at just "getting" my personal taste and style. She has helped enormously on my renovation journey (which was not all smooth sailing). Excellent at finding solutions and remaining calm.

My husband has relocated alone to Sydney on work. Being away from home, we very much wanted to have a place which could make him feel home after a long day at work. We needed someone who can help us doing our rented unit as per our taste in a foreign country. Anoushka has managed our project so amazingly well. After having seen the great interior work Anoushka had completed at our niece’s apartment, we contacted her to help us with the renovation of our newly purchased home. We are very happy with both the process and the outcome of our work with Anoushka. Her ideas and guidance gave us the confidence to create something that suits our style; her extensive network of suppliers proved immensely convenient; and overall the outcome was highly cost-effective. Our project involved a significant renovation of a 3 bedroom apartment in the Sydney CBD. We appointed Anoushka after contacting and interviewing a number of designers. We had quite a clear idea about the nature and scale of the project but given we were practically gutting the apartment and starting from scratch, Anoushka helped us to refine our own brief and our ideas. Our project started with a fairly substantial budget which grew based on the choices we made for products and finishes but Anoushka provided sound budget advise throughout – where to spend, where to conserve. We appointed Anoushka to help with the creative elements of the renovation and also to project manage the venture from construction to the end styling. The renovation provided the opportunity to work with a blank canvas and we drew on her extensive network of suppliers who were professional and reliable. For the interior design the brief was to bring together existing and new pieces of furniture and art - we’ve lived overseas in different countries for almost 15 of the last 30 years which made the task quite a challenge yet we feel Anoushka has made it all work well together. Her project management skills were highly professional and gave us peace-of-mind and meant the project came together with all of the required suppliers in the most efficient manner. We were kept well informed of progress and unexpected issues were handled calmly and competently. We’re very happy in our new home and our friends have been very flattering. It was a pleasure working with Anoushka and we’ve already recommended her to people without reservation.

Anoushka was wonderful! She has a great style and good eye for detail. She guided me through all decisions and was friendly, and understanding as we worked around my toddler and dog causing chaos. Her recommendations were practical and took in to consideration things I wouldn't have thought of. She was great organizing quotes and communicating with trades and helped manage all the small things. I've had so many compliments on our apartment since we worked with her. Will be using her again!
