My experience, collaborating with Gem'Appelle Designs, for a recent renovation & extension project has been nothing short of delightful. Grant is courteous and attentive, always with the clients best interests in mind. He clearly has pride in his work, but is also a good open listener and valuable contributor to design discussions. We had never considered an interior designer before but are thrilled we did. Grant has been marvellous. Our starting point for the refurbishment of our home is the kitchen but Grant has considered each of our rooms, how we use them, our tastes and ideas and delivered a proposal for a great central kitchen which will work seamlessly with the additional work to be completed throughout the house. Grant is professional and innovative with a wonderful style sense. We have happily recommended him to friends and family and will continue to work with him as we complete our refurbishment.

After 3 disasterous attempts to obtain a kitchen design and quote that met my requirements as a profesional chef my wife and i were ready to give up on getting a new kitchen, then a relative suggested we contact grant hiscock at gem appelle designs, the following weekend grant was at our house to discuss our requirements and ideas for the renovation. For the first time we had someone who had new ideas and listened to what we thought we wanted and also pointed out benefits and disadvantages in our wished for kitchen,within a week grant had a amazing kichen plan ready and at a price that had everything included from start to finish including appliances, grants design gave us twice the space of our suggested design and is extremely user friendly and visualy stunning. Grant assisted us with the renovations of our kitchen. He literally helped us transform the space. Once a pokey and unusable space it is now open and practical for a family of 4. He also understood my love for art and by redesigning the space created more wall space for hanging. Since then I have referred him to a dear friend whose kitchen he also transformed. He didn't just come in and change colours he asked how you want to use the kitchen so that the space actually worked and looks amazing at the same time.

In 2015 Grant of Gem’Appelle Designs helped us create a most delightful kitchen. He was a pleasure to work with as he had great ideas and was never pushy. He project managed the entire build from design to installation and the whole process was seamless and stress free. We have a kitchen that is still a delight to be in and use and has added value to our home in more than just a monetary sense.

Grant is a gentleman, friendly so good with people. A real professional and can go from advising us in our home as well as our flat. Grant had to cope with changing minds, wife and husbands different styles and mid life craziness at times. I would recommend Grant for any design ideas.
