Sunshine Coast interior designer, Box Clever Interiors, create interior design solutions tailored just for you. With a strong portfolio of residential and commercial interior design, every job starts with a blank sheet and a long conversation. We understand the importance of getting to know our clients, understanding their interior design needs, wants and desires. With our experience and our sourcing knowledge, you get the right advice and the best interior design to work with your budget. Start off easy, talk to a professional and even bounce your ideas off them. Our 90 minute consultations take place at your home or business and cost $275*. Your consultation will be followed up with a report and an action plan. Founder and principle interior designer, is Irish born Hilary Sharp. She is a member of the Design Institute of Australia and has extensive experience having worked in house for leading architectural practices both in Dublin and the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. She has a keen interest in sustainable design and with design influences drawn from her European roots and her adopted home on the Sunshine Coast.

We are delighted with our end result. Several friends have commented that it is both tasteful and 'classy'. Hilary worked with us with great patience along the way and always listened when we felt an item was not quite right. We are glad to recommend her.

So happy with the end result and featured in Queensland Homes Autumn Winter 2020 too! Using Box Clever seemed a natural fit for us after chatting with a few stylists/ designers. We were definitely on the same page when it came to our preference for ethical and sustainable choices. Hilary did an amazing job curating pieces for us to choose from, so the end result really reflected ourselves as well as being stylish and practical. Managing the project to tight deadlines was a challenge she lived upto and kept us involved and communicated with all the way. Have since recommended to friends who are also very happy with their service and hope to use again on future projects.

We had a great experience with Box Clever Interiors. The service and fee structure was thoughtful, allowing you to engage them for as little or as much as you and your budget required. From the start to finish, Hilary was fantastic. She listened to what we envisaged, and guided us in through where we weren’t so sure what to do. She was very practical, finding solutions that looked great and met our family situation with young kids (i.e. kid proof!). She gave us multiple options for pieces in each room, and on the odd occasion we wanted something different, she was willing and able to find additional ideas. The end result was a cohesive and themed house that we are so happy with. We highly recommend Hilary and Box Clever Interiors.

We had been stuck for years as to how to renovate an old, ugly, non practical bathroom laundry combo till we got Hilary from Box Clever out to figure it all out for us. Who would’ve thought that 1 small area could now be 2 brand spanking new, functional and beautiful rooms. Nicest rooms in the house!!! Without Hilary’s brilliant ideas, we’d still be in that hideous bathroom?laundry!

Hilary Sharp has been utterly delightful, professional, insightful to my wants (and needs) and was always available for my very very long phone calls. Quickly I realised that Hilary undetstood 'my style' and I have found that her initial concepts have been 'spot on'. I am extremely satisfied with what Hilary has done with my home. It has completely transformed into this amazing house I never would have been able to achieve on my own. Hilary went the extra distance to ensure that I was happy with her suggestions and I found her to be very easy to communicate with.
