“I was very daunted by the task of renovating our 1920’s house, whilst still trying to maintain the classical look of the house. It was a pleasure to work with Marylou. She was professional, displayed a great sense of attention to detail and was mindful of what we wanted. She assisted us in choosing the paint colours, tiles, appliances, fabrics and soft furnishings. She facilitated the process by providing a small choice of what she felt was suitable and took me to shop for appliances and furnishings. I would highly recommend Marylou to anyone in need of refurbishing their home. We have enjoyed living in our home whilst enjoying the practical aspects, too. Bertha Shakinovsky”

“We have just completed our second bathroom designed and project managed by JPWK Design, and we couldn't be happier. The principal took a very thorough brief and was able to translate our vision; style preferences and budget into two beautiful contemporary spaces. Whilst both slightly different, the design, tiles format, layout and fixtures have a lovely synergy assuring they both sit beautifully in our home. The use of lighting was also a very effective feature of the design. JPWK Design clearly retains quality trades who work as a team. The build was to schedule, very un-intrusive and our home was protected and kept clean throughout the demo and build. The attention to detail, focus on practicality/quality and flexibility with the ‘unexpected’ in an older house, was very much appreciated. All our questions were answered promptly and we felt we were always listened to. The end product is two lovely bathrooms on which we get numerous compliments. I highly recommend JPWK Design if you want a true partnership; lovely contemporary concepts and a quality finish.”

“Megan helped tweak our architectural plans to create a more functional and spacious design. She helped us imagine the size and feel of our rooms. The Architect fully agreed that her tweaks improved the plans. Megan's ideas were just incredible and made me feel so much better about our dream home. Megan came to the rescue again to help me design the lay out of our kitchen. She is so professional, knowledgeable and wastes no time. I will be calling on her expertise to help with the interior design soon.”

“We have sought our Cherel's opinion and designs on a number of occasions not only for our residential home in Sydney but also a property overseas. She has always been interested in our thoughts and takes time to know our taste. To this she adds her colours, designs and realism to create our vision and unique and practical result. She ensures that the result is distinctive, practical and stands the test of time as all our projects have proven. She also allows for discussion and is always happy to amend her work to fit in with our expectations. In other words approachable and enthusiastic. Her team is exemplary and co-operative. “I can't recommend Vicki from Designing Women highly enough. I recently renovated my kitchen, laundry and 4 bathrooms. She helped me set an overall plan first, drew the plans for the builders and helped me choose my materials. She came with me to kitchen appliance stores, tile shops and specialty bathroom stores. She is a wealth of information and knows exactly where to go. What I loved most about Vicki is how she got me to make the final design decisions. I was very nervous about my tile choices etc but she gave me confidence and guided me brilliantly so that the overall look and feel is exactly what I wanted. She also made countless recommendations while drawing up the plans about little things I never would have thought of (and appreciate so much now!). She was with me from the start to end of the project and I found her invaluable. She is very capable, has a beautiful eye for style and detail, communicates with builders and tradesmen effectively and brings a calming influence to the very stressful task of renovation. I would highly recommend Vicki for any home improvement job or design advice.”
