“Lauren is a wonderful designer. She designs rooms that are timeless and classic but up to date and fresh. I like to say that we have the same taste - but hers is better. She understands what I like but makes it much more fabulous. I have worked with her on 3 different homes, from a summer cottage to a huge city factory conversion, choosing fixtures and finishes, fabrics and furniture from the start to finish. She helping me on my fourth project now. She is very professional and wonderful to work with in every way.”

“I have worked with Laura since we bought our house 8 years ago. She has done an amazing job at helping us decorate to our tastes -- but at least 10x better than we could have done on our own. She's helped us understand the space, what furniture will fit in it, the colors that will work best, etc. I think she's actually saved us money because every choice is well thought out -- we do not have to later discard items that do not fit or that do not coordinate well. Laura is very efficient and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”

“Jacquie is an exceptional designer with a fantastic eye!! She is able to help with a small design project (such as giving a room a "facelift") or she can manage a large construction project from start to finish. Jacquie is great at understanding a person or company's own style, rather than imposing her own style upon them. I have worked with Jacquie on multiple corporate projects as well as personal projects, and have referred her to multiple friends and relatives. I can't say enough great things about Jacquie's work, plus she's a great lady to boot!! Highly recommended!!”

“After 35+ years in the same house, it was time to downsize and I couldn't have managed the task without Wendy's support each step of the way. Not only did she assist in determining which existing pieces would work in the smaller unit, she was immensely helpful in choosing the finishes for the new place, filling in with purchased pieces and the overall design and feel of my new residence. The final product allowed me to have a fresh start in a new place that immediately felt like home due to Wendy's amazing attention to detail for color, style, comfort and design. She is professional in every sense meeting both deadlines and budgetary requests. $100/hour rate was a tremendous value for the service and expertise that Wendy provided She has an innate talent for pulling together myriad layers in a space to create a warm, elegant and cohesive home that is a true reflection of its owner. “Elizabeth Paul Design began design work on my home in mid-July 2022 with an evaluation of current furnishings followed by sending pics of various furniture. A visit to the furniture store followed about a week later. Elizabeth has displayed her enthusiasm to fulfill the project and has the capability to understand her clients needs, i.e knowing type of furniture someone may desire. Thus far, the modern contemporary style has been the goal. A fresh coat of paint and new furniture, carpet, artwork and light fixtures in the living room, kitchen and den. The project is on pace not to overwhelm financially with a few more rooms at a later date. In addition, Elizabeth has been designing the garden/landscape as the exterior my home has minimal flowers or other vegetation. She is very knowledgable on coordinating colors and style etc. to meet a flow pattern room to room or grouping of exterior flowers/shrubs. I look forward to continuing working with Elizabeth for as long as the project will take....photos will be provided or upon request.”
