Lillian took my parents’ 50-year-old home and brought it into the 21st century, turning it into a like-new home. “Building a house is one of the most exciting, stressful, costly and memorable things one can do in a lifetime. Picking your designer is your first crucial decision. Emily makes the process incredibly pleasurable. She has the education and experience to make her great. However, it is her natural ability to see beauty that makes her exceptional. Emily has this incredible ability to help you see the vision which is hard for us first timers or novices out there. Emily takes your idea and stratifies it. She pushes you just enough so you take comfortable risks and gently steers you from regrettable mistakes. She is remarkable. One of the most important elements Emily brings is advocacy. During my build when we ran into problems, my builders/contractors would occasionally push me into solutions that were easiest or cheapest for them. Emily would not allow it. “I had a wonderful time working with Martha and her team. I was nervous to work with a designer for the first time, but Carrie and Martha made me feel completely at ease with the entire process. Going into our family room remodel, I wasn't sure about how everything would fit into my budget, but they helped me figure out what made the most sense for me. And it was amazing how well Carrie stuck to our plan! Even when my new sofa wasn't going to make it in time for a family gathering, she found and delivered a replacement for me to use until my actual furniture arrived. It would have been impossible for me to do this all on my own, and we love our new family room! Thank you girls!”

“I loved working with Mel! I have had the privilege to work with her while she was an Art Director at Periscope. One of the projects we worked on was the interior design of a major public transportation hub in Los Angeles. Mel used images and quotes to make a stinky outdated location look modern and beautiful. She traveled to the location so she could bring back over 100 photos of all the various nuances so she could put together a flawless design to transform the environment. From signage on the stairs as people exited the station, around the posts, along the floor and walls she design every element with the total design in mind. If she can make a transportation hub look cool she can make any home look amazing. - Tanya”
