We recently carried out a large refurbishment of a 2 storey apartment in Bellevue Hill. The clients engaged Conway + Wise to take over the interior design and fitout of the project. The design they came up with was a very fitting design for the building, it complemented the exiting layout and feel of the properly perfectly. The choice in finishes, colours and materials was excellent. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout the project and their ability to work thru and solve problems made life for the client and us, the builder, easy and stress free. I hired Conway + Wise to renovate two very old bathrooms in a large 1960's apartment block. I wanted something modern but not what every other designer would do. Something unique and interesting at a budget. Shellie spent a lot of time with me going through every detail and listening to my long wish list. They came up with great ideas and products that I'd never heard of and sourced everything needed for the project. They were brilliant in finding great space saving solutions and designing 2 bathrooms that I absolutely love. They even managed to fit in a laundry - luxury! Conway and Wise did exactly what I needed - they turned my visualisation into reality and it turned out exactly as I had wanted it to be - a sanctuary that was more than just a bathroom. I'd already renovated the rest of the house and had found that there was always some descripancy between what I told the builder I wanted, and what I actually ended up with. I had seen some of Conway and Wise's previous projects and loved their sense of detail and proportion so I hired them to ensure that this didn't happen again! I had also seen Shellie's beautiful 3D computer generated drawings on someone else's project, realised this was exactly what I wanted, so contacted her to give me 3D computer drawings which showed all perspectives. She even gave me a beautifully rendered picture of my 'finished bathroom' which was so realistic I could have hung it in a frame on the wall. From this picture and the detailed plans, I was able to clearly see the finished project BEFORE the building started, and therefore managed to avoid any unexpected and unpleasant 'surprises'. Shellie also recommended various nifty additions to my iniital visualisation, which in the end made all the difference to the practicality and amenity of the finished project. My builder commented on the quality and detail of the plans which included everything, even the tile layout, which contributed greatly to the project being completed on time and within budget without any significant issues . I am honestly so happy with the finished project and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Conway and Wise to anyone who wants an interior project designed.
