Vicki was highly recommended by a kitchen cabinet maker to draw up plans for our kitchen that needed renovating and my husband and I were thrilled not only with the end results but also with her professionalism, speedy responses and obvious depth of experience. I would not hesitate to recommend her and look forward to working with her on other projects when the need arises.

Vicki has assisted us on a number of building projects. Two architect designed new family homes built in 1987 and 1997 where she advised, designed and supervised kitchen, bathrooms and laundry rooms including layout and finishes, and relationship to the rest of the house. More recently, following a move to down-size, Vicki has advised on fitting out a hundred year cottage to suit our changing needs. Vicki is solutions-focused. She is a great listener, sticks to the budget and her advice has always been invaluable, especially in “sanity checking” plans and advice from architects and builders. Best of all Vicki obviously takes great pride in her work and is a pleasure to work with.

Vicki was amazing. She listened to our thoughts and ideas and then made suggestions which improved on those ideas. We live in a heritage listed house and with Vicki's help the flow between the old and the new is perfect. We absolutely love our renovated house and it is all thanks to Vicki's foresight, planning and inspiration.

Vicki from Designing Women provided a detailed plan for the kitchen and pantry in our renovated country home. She worked closely with me, to ensure that her design would match my needs and expectations. I have worked with Vicki on quite a few projects and can unreservedly recommend her as an adviser. She is a very good listener and takes other views on board but also has a depth of experience and insight so she can steer a project to the best possible outcome. One of her great strengths is in conceptualising how existing spaces may be used to good effect without knocking down and starting from scratch at huge expense. Vicki's suggestion that we add on a small conservatory to a very difficult kitchen space was brilliant and transformed our home. It was a lateral idea that easily trumped the mundane solutions of consultants sent by a couple of kitchen renovation companies. Basically. if you are looking to adapt or transform your kitchen or bathroom (or house spaces generally) and within a reasonable budget you will find Vicki can come up with some great ideas.

What a wonderful team of professional staff. We have used Designing Women for the last two renovations in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and couldn't be happier. Recently Vicki assisted with design elements for our apartment in Rose Bay including furniture specification, kitchen design, lighting, layout and finishes. Our kitchen is the heart of the house and we love entertaining, so getting the kitchen right was most important to us. We find the finished kitchen efficient in its layout and love the look of it. I can't recommend Vicki from Designing Women highly enough. I recently renovated my kitchen, laundry and 4 bathrooms. She helped me set an overall plan first, drew the plans for the builders and helped me choose my materials. She came with me to kitchen appliance stores, tile shops and specialty bathroom stores. She is a wealth of information and knows exactly where to go. What I loved most about Vicki is how she got me to make the final design decisions. I was very nervous about my tile choices etc but she gave me confidence and guided me brilliantly so that the overall look and feel is exactly what I wanted. She also made countless recommendations while drawing up the plans about little things I never would have thought of (and appreciate so much now!). She was with me from the start to end of the project and I found her invaluable. She is very capable, has a beautiful eye for style and detail, communicates with builders and tradesmen effectively and brings a calming influence to the very stressful task of renovation.
