We recently engaged the services of Edwina Harris to design and style our period home of 30 years, for sale. I wished we had used her skills and knowledge to transform our house years ago, so we could have benefited earlier from her designing skills and magic ideas. We trusted and followed Edwina's suggestions with paint, colour, lighting, finishes, fittings etc, Her choice of furniture and decor was perfection. The final result was a new fresh, flowing, contemporary feel, which seamlessly incorporated the beautiful period features of the house. The transformation was stunning! Edwina's design and presentation brought in many positive reviews both on-line and during inspections of the house which in turn, resulted in major interest. The house never looked so good! Edwina was fantastic to work with. My mother had a great deal of concern over the "value* vs "cost" in staging her home as she thought it was a *waste of money as people could see through it!". We got exactly what we asked for. We are doing a full renovation so working with a blank canvas. We wanted ideas on how to pull the whole thing together and make the spaces work Edwina delivered a PowerPoint presentation with images of rooms with example looks and a range of samples of suggested finishes. Despite providing relatively little direction on our tastes and ideas she developed a concept we instantly liked.
