After moving into a rather cavernous house at the beginning of COVID in 2020 we realised we needed to make it more cosy and more suited to our lifestyle and family. Anne-Marie helped bring our ideas to life through plans and finding some new furniture and rugs to complement the key pieces we already owned. Although the project took a very long time, thanks to restrictions on tradespeople, delays in delivery of rugs and longer lead times for furniture, Anne-Marie made sure we got there in the end! We have thoroughly enjoyed our new spaces!

Exactly what I was looking for to style my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom modern apartment. Great advice on furniture, walls, colours and layout to complete the simple, modern Scandi style I was wanting.

Anne-Marie Kruithof, is a "Pro' in her field. We approached her about renovating our company foyer last year to make it look classy with a stylish look. She came up with 3 to 4 different stunning designs and each looked fantastic. Despite it being a pandemic period, she found a way to check the weekly progress by asking our builder to join through the Zoom meeting. She has good attention to detail, very creative, polite, and passionate which made her finish the work well before the due date.

Working with Anne-Marie was delightful! She was easy to work with and she understood our needs immediately, my husband got a beautiful home office and he couldn’t be happier.

Anne-Marie has been involved with our new build from the very early stages of the floor plan design, right through to it being complete and ready to move in. Anne marie was great to work with. She has lots of experience and knows how to deal with people. She was on site whenever it was required to liason with builder and tradies. Anne marie was able to bring samples/items to the house which made chosing products and colours easier. She always made sure that any changes made would fit into our lifestyle and she was never dismissive of our ideas. Her role in our build was further complicated by Covid,however she was positive and we worked towards ordering items or products and being on task so that as restrictions lifted the job could continue A job well done!!!!!!!

Anne-Marie from Fuchsia Interiors provided the drawings for our residential renovation. Anne-Marie perfectly put onto paper the vision that we had in our head and also made any recommendations she felt appropriate. We could not fault her work at all, her drawings were perfect, and helped our renovation run effortlessly. Anne-Marie at Fuchsia Interiors was recommended to us through an Architect. We were looking to freshen up our period home (renovated 15 years ago), In particular, we were looking for new interior and exterior paint colours together with some ideas for a new kitchen, some extra storage, floor coverings, window furnishings and some suggestions for our bathrooms and external pool area. Firstly Anne-Marie researched the era of the home and came up with some timeless colours that have completely transformed the look of the property. We've had nothing but great feedback from all the neighbours who have watched the transformation of our beautiful home. So much so, that we've been asked if we are selling. We are continuing to work together with Anne-Marie as Covid restrictions are lifted to work on the next stages of our renovation. My wife and I engaged Fuchsia Interiors after we purchased a house which required a slight remodel to correct some sub-optimal renovations done by the previous owner. After purchase, my wife and I debated whether we would hire a design professional or DIY. We eventually agreed to give a professional a go - though my wife remained skeptical. She believed as we already had ideas about what we wanted and were qualified by way of watching countless hours of renovation themed TV (e.g. Selling Houses Australia, Love it Or List It, etc.) we didn't need outside assistance. I am pleased to note my wife's initial skepticism was very short lived and Anne-Marie exceeded our expectations in every way! Upon engagement, she was great at listening to our vision and ideas while giving her informed and insightful feedback on it and offering her own ideas. We couldn't be happier with the recommendations AM suggested (which we wouldn't have done without her assistance and absolutely made the strongest impact). For instance, she identified issue with the floor plan that interfered with the flow of space we were creating, I assumed we'd have to live with it, but AM was able to propose creative ways to fit the removal of a wall into our budget. She helped us assess each component of the remodel, from floor plan, to cabinetry design and furniture selection and even helped us ballpark the projected duration and cost of the project based on different variables. Anne-Marie was a true pleasure to work with, answering our many questions and being generous with her time. Including, visiting a house in the area which we were inspired by. After completion of the renovations, we had our house revalued. On a conservative basis, we achieved around a 3 times return on our cash investment (adjusted for CPI/price movements within the market). The valuer stated this was largely due to the removal of the wall and the quality of cabinetry which Fuchsia Interiors designed. Needless to say the wife and I have been really happy with Fuchsia and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fuchsia to anyone. We engaged Anne-Marie to assist us with the interior design of our new home and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. We had some ideas about what we wanted and Anne-Marie brought those ideas to life. Her guidance on tapware, colours selections and cabinetry made this daunting task so much easier. Doing a major renovation, we had little idea about the look we were after. It was not until we started working with Anne-Marie that things started to come together. She was able to guide us on many different areas on the renovation - from colours to tiles to carpet to bench tops - she was across it all. Once we had moved back in we then utilised Anne-marie to help choose our furniture, which made a daunting task that much easier. Anne-Marie helped us to completely redesign the floor plan of our 50 year old weatherboard home, including a small extension and we couldn't be happier. Being a budget sensitive job, she worked extremely hard to present us with a very clever floor plan, achieving amazing results to create a wonderful space for us to live in and for the family to grow. She showed such diversity in her designs and ideas and really took the time to understand exactly what we were hoping to achieve within our budget. I hired this company on the recommendation of a friend. I had no prior relationship. I found Anne-Marie professional, patient, creative, hard working and a pleasure to work with.

We used Anne Marie for the design and finish of our living area, kitchen, pantry and laundry. She found errors in the original plans with respect to window heights etc vs the appliances purchased and changed the layout saving us time and money. All these have worked a treat and living in the house for three years we could not imagine it done any other way. Another plus was that our builder quoted very sharp on the kitchen as the plans were so detailed that it saved his kitchen guy having to figure it out and he knew that there would be no surprises. We also found that our original spec for the wall finish behind the fireplace looked wrong in her cad drawings and changed the finish, saving a bunch of money but more importantly giving us a much better result. As the design process marched on we also got her to do the lighting and result has been 10/10 for lighting as we have no dark spots and can change the mood by using alternative circuits. We have given her referrals for our friends and that is probably the highest accolade.

Thanks Fuchsia interiors. Comprehensive advise for our 45m square living area renovation, which included the removal of walls and overall layout of the space. The drawings provided concise information to scale for the planning and design of the kitchen, lighting installation and the acquisition of furniture and fittings. Three or Four consultations helped refine and develop colour texture and appropriate use for the our living style and requirements. The advise was firm but sympathetic to the taste and desires of the client. Highly Recommended!

AnneMarie Kruithof has a lovely creative and consultative style. She works hard to understand your style, not impose her own. She can assist with the selection of all household items when building a house, as well as curtains, household furniture, decorative items and wall treatments (ie wallpaper, paint colours, art).
