I completed a knock down and rebuild of my new home. It was a blank canvas and we were nervous but excited for the opportunity to start fresh. Karas Design sat down with us and spent time to understand our personality, likes and dislikes. Martha has an amazing eye for detail, from tiles, colours, layout, ensuring our rooms flowed seamlessly. We were completely overwhelmed by the task at hand but with their help a big weight was lifted off our shoulders. Absolutely amazing genuine and professional service. We love our timeless and modern design of our home.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Martha to select furniture and style our new home. From our first chat, she absolutely nailed the choices to work with our lifestyle and budget. Martha and her team are very helpful and responsive and we can’t wait to see all of our beautiful new furniture in our house in a couple of months. Our only regret is we didn’t engage her from the beginning and have her help in colour selection, finishes etc. Definitely next time!

I engaged Karas Design to assist with design, building and fitout of a commercial Edwardian warehouse (converted office space) in Surry Hills. Martha + team designed, engaged trades, provided management and direction down to the finest of detail from construction to the furnishings and art on the walls. Martha is astutely able to convert a layman’s broad objectives into a polished, finished, aesthetically beautiful end product. Thankyou Martha!

Martha did a lovely job with the interior design for our recent renovation. She helped us with designing our new bathroom, laundry and built-in furniture for our bedroom, as well as choosing the interior paint colours and floor finishes for the house. We are so happy with the results and look forward to working with her again when we redo our kitchen soon.

Martha worked with us on designing our new family home. She took the time to understand our requirements and helped us designed a home to ensure all space was maximised whilst still being functional & practical. We are thrilled with the professionalism and enthusiasm of Martha. She takes time to listen to what we like and dislike, to properly understand and appreciate our many collectibles like ceramic pieces and Chinese artwork and calligraphy. Making sure the designed cabinetry and wall space would accommodate and display our collectibles in a harmonious way. The transitional blending from our existing heritage house in the front to the contemporary extension at the back is a credit to Martha’s vision and knowledge.

I engaged Martha from Karas Designs, to help with a natural health clinic fit out. I wanted to create a space that is natural, warm, inviting, non clinical and above all nurturing.
