We wanted a Hampton style house and that's exactly what we got! We met with Michelle Marsden and asked for help to design and renovate our house 'Hampton style'. It amazed me how quickly she envisioned how our house would transform into our beautiful new home. We loved her designs but equally importantly found her easy to engage with. Her experience and attention to detail is second to none. She was always available to answer our questions and could come up with a suitable solution to the variety of problems that you encounter when renovating. We looked forward to our meetings to see the design come together. As our house began to transform she was also willing to help with styling tips and recommendations. She knew what we wanted before we did!! We highly recommend Michelle. Renovating can be stressful and draining but Michelle makes it exciting and positive. She is professional, dedicated and friendly and it was an absolute pleasure to have her as our designer. A true professional.

We were extremely pleased with the plans Michelle Marsden produced for the entire renovation of our large 30 year old multi-level duplex. With clever planning Michelle was able to transform our 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms into a more functional and beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home, without extending beyond the existing exterior walls. From our intiial meeting Michelle provided excellent creative design ideas which we had not thought of, even after 12 months of our own planning. Michelle provided professional working drawings which were easy to read and understand for our consideration and approval. Her suggestions and advice for our colour scheme, floor & wall tiles. tap ware, cabinetry etc. was essential in producing such a stunning finished project. Relatives and friends who have visited have been throughly impressed and the word they frequently use is WOW. Michelle was a pleasure to work with, always cheerful, courteous, polite, respectful and full of energy. We cannot recommend her highly enough and would definitely engage her again.

It has been a great pleasure working with Michelle for my project. She is always very professional and detailed with her designs. Our kitchen and joinery design for our home was beautifully designed and very practical in real life as well. Nothing is too hard for her. Highly recommended!

We came to Michelle on the back of a recommendation after parting ways with an architect. Our brief to Michelle was to design a liveable, timeless family home that touched on the Californian Bungalow style. She delivered this and then some as her attention to detail is second to none. Not only does she listen to what you are after she also asks many questions to create an exact picture of your home. She walks you through how you are going to live in your home to create the best possible outcome. Thanks to Michelle we’ve ended up with a fabulous home. Michelle took over our plans for our new home at an early stage and turned them into a beautiful and elegant design. It is with considerable pleasure that I write this review as we have commissioned Michelle twice, first to renovate our home on the Gold Coast then to design a new home for us. Attention to detail was fantastic but above all it is her experience on what works to make a house a liveable home A delight to deal with and I really looked forward to our meetings!

We gave Michelle a brief to design a New England Shingle style house that should look like a grand old lady that had been built 100 years ago. She accomplished this and more. Tradesmen actually thought it was a renovation during the fit-out. Michelle's attention to detail is second to none. She is on time, on budget and understands that the house has to be "liveable" not simply a show-piece. She is an absolute delight to work. Our builder was so impressed and inspired he has engaged Michelle to design his own new home. She will always remain my "go-to" designer after our experience because she "gets it" about the whole process - from design to budget to making it work. I should also mention she is smart, funny and VERY amenable. I would not use anyone else.

We have engaged Michelle from MM Design multiple times in 2016 and 2017 for renovations to our home and holiday apartment.
