Kathryn has worked on both residential and commercial projects for our family over the years. Her attention to detail is excellent and she has a natural ability to choose materials and colours that work well together and that connect rooms to each other. She is fantastic at coming up with solutions to make rooms function and flow and offers great value sourcing Australian made furnishings below retail prices. She is always a pleasure to deal with and approaches each brief with a fresh perspective while delivering great solutions on time and within budget. Kat at mile and co has an incredible eye and a wonderful ability to understand her client. We have worked with her on two of our homes now. One was a top floor apartment with sweeping views, the next an old 1917 brick home that we didn't want to lose the character of, but it needed updated and to reflect our style. Two very different properties, but both times she got the advice and designs 100% spot on. We were lost and stuck with our design and style until we meet Kat. She has empowered us to do the things we can ourselves, patiently educating us along the way, but we have been so happy selecting some pieces through her too where she has provided excellent pricing and find some incredible items (E.g. a very specific sized hallway runner that we love and has made a huge difference. We didn't even realise we needed it!). I highly recommend Kat for interior design and she's also an absolute pleasure to deal with, projecting the warmest energy.
