No Space Like Home

I asked Clare to help with my kitchen / diner / utility refresh . She listened exactly to my requirements and what I was aiming for in the space . She understood my love of pattern and colour but also my need for a calming environment . The result is the perfect mix of both and a space I love to be in . The worktop , tile and paint colour suggestions work perfectly together and have created a designer interior that I couldn’t ever have come up with myself . I would definitely recommend No space like Home .

We are so happy with the design and highly recommend Clare's services. We weren't sure whether we could stretch to using a designer for our project, but we are so pleased we did! Not only did Clare translate all of our preferences into a beautiful design but she was really lovely to work with. The aftercare with her has been amazing and it's clear that she really cares about the final result. Everyone that walks into our new room says "wow". We wouldn't hesitate to use her again, in fact we have booked another project in with her!

Clare was great to work with, listened to what we wanted but bought her own ideas to the table as well. Both rooms look fantastic and we would never have achieved this without Clare.

Simply wow from start to finish! We asked Clare to design our lounge, giving her a blank canvas, only asking that the historical features were retained. The attention to detail Clare gave to every stage was extremely impressive, we were kept very well informed throughout the whole process of her project managing the design for us. Our ideas were listened to, although to be fair Clare's ideas were spot on and she quickly gained our trust that she knew what she was doing and she wouldn't settle for anything less than perfection. All tradesmen used on the project were also of a very high standard and ensured Clare's detailed design was implemented. The end result is beyond our initial high expectations and friends and family that have seen the change are truly blown away at the overall design and feel of our lounge. Several friends have already asked for Clare's contact details and we would not hesitate to recommend her services. The only downside of the whole process, is that we now need to save for another room doing by Clare!

Clare was such a joy to work with. She transformed my open-plan flat into a beautful yet functional space to live and work in. I liked the fact she made sure she was fully briefed on sorts of colours, design and furniture pieces I preferred to have in my home. She was really friendly and knowledgeable,and made sure I was consulted and happy throughout the design process. I loved the little personal touches she incorporated, like picking out wallpaper designed on national trails because I enjoy hiking, to the prints selected which reflected places I'd lived and artists I like. Even my 6 year old is delighted with the changes and summed it up by saying 'Mummy, now it feels like a home'

We loved working with Clare! She’s so lovely and brilliant at what she does. We are absolutely clueless so Clare had to really hold our hands throughout the process. She has a great instinct for design and colour, she listened really carefully to what we wanted and was great at communicating with us at all stages. We love the rooms that Clare created in our home.

Clare is amazing at her job I got introduced to her by a friend and have no regrets at all asking Clare to help me designing a new bathroom. I had an idea of colour but and layout but clearly I was not an expert in thst field... That I definitely found out when Clare cast her talentes eye to the design. Although I project managed the install Clare has been there at ANY point to help with any questions and tips. There literally isn't any task to big or small for Clare to help with. I have had a lot of tradesmen assist with the room and all have complimented in the design and tiles. One tradesman in particular said that Clare has a great eye for design and detail. I would not even question if Clare should be appointed with any design she is amazing at what she does and I am very grateful!!

Clare has completed our bedroom project and we couldn’t be happier with it, Clare takes on board what colour schemes and furniture options I liked and did a beautiful design that has now come to life!! The bedroom is super cosy and Clare has chosen some lovely accessories to go with the room that I wouldn’t have normally picked myself but I trusted her vision and now everything has come together lovely. Will certainly use Clare again in the future, professional hard working and friendly.

Clare was amazing from start to finish. This was the first time we had ever used an interior designer so we didn’t really know what to expect, She took her time to understand our needs, she had patience, gave further guidance when needed and coped very well with our indecisiveness. She created a plan fitting our needs and within our budget. We are really happy with the end result and have rebooked to do another room.

I can't recommend Clare / No Space Like Home highly enough. Our 6 year old son's bedroom was an unusual shape and we'd decorated it as soon as we moved into our new house but soon realised it wasn't going to work for long. Clare spent time with us but more importantly, our son to understand what he likes/dislikes & how he would want to use the room. We are just delighted with the scheme from colours to furniture and carpets to accessories......they all fit together so well and my son is just delighted. I really struggle with choice fatigue when looking to decorate and style a room and Clare gave us choices but it wasn't overwhelming. Clare also project managed the room for us so we could rest assured that deadlines were met and Clare worked with a number of different people she trusted to help with different elements of the project. Finally, I often think that people are scared of working with an interior designer because of perceptions of hefty fees but Clare made having a very open and candid conversation about budget and fees really easy at the very outset. Clare also offered us her trade discount on purchases where it was available and this more than covered the original design fee.
