About Us

Studio ldm offers a variety of specialised services, including complete interior design services for both residential and commercial projects. Providing full documentation for interior architecture design, spatial planning and development. The studio uses the latest CAD software to produce detailed working drawings for both the client, builder and trades, as well as producing a comprehensive set of schedules to include finishes, fixtures and fittings, furniture and accessories. Studio ldm also offers consultations and advice, and is able to follow your project all the way through from conception to completion.

Professional Information

Studio ldm’s creative director Laura Di Mambro graduated from University in the UK with a first class Bachelor ‘with Honours’ Degree in Interior Architecture. She has worked in various architectural practices and design firms both in the UK and QLD as a Senior Interior Designer project managing both Commercial and Residential interior design projects . Past projects include high end health clubs, boutique hotels and high end residential homes. Laura has also worked at the University of Bedfordshire as a part time tutor teaching interior design and interior architecture . Laura moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in early 2008 with her family where Studio ldm was conceived. Studio ldm has been featured in Queensland Homes, Ideal Home UK & Interior Design Review Magazine as well as local sunshine coast magazines. Studio ldm has also previously shortlisted for the Interior Design Excellence IDEA awards ” Emerging Designer” and “Residential Single Interior Design “

Laura has now completed two cafe fitouts for me over the last two years, both completed on time and on budget. She has great vision and can easily communicate this with the client. It was a pleasure working with Laura, her professionalism and expertise combined with her easy going personality will ensure I use her for any future projects that arise

Laura from Studio Ldm helped us design our dining and living area. She helped co-ordinate rugs, furniture and art work and the overall result is stunning! Everyone comments on what a great use of space, light and colour.

We hired Studio Ldm to transform our boring and hot courtyard into an amazing space that welcomes you every time you set foot in it. Studio ldm came up with ideas we would have never thought of ourselves and helped sourcing everything that was required within our budget. We went from just gravel and grass to a great timber deck with build-in planterboxes, storage, lounge area and perfect shade. Everybody who walks in comments on the great space.

We hired Studio LDM when we were considering moving house as we didn't feel comfortable there. Laura had original and creative ideas that we had never even thought of and we now love the space we are in! It has been transformed from dark and gloomy to light and stylish, just through changing paint colour and furniture. No major renovations were needed which kept costs down but the result looks a million dollars!
