D&F Cabinets and Kitchens

At D & F Cabinets we want to make the process of building your artisan kitchen or cabinetry a rewarding and seamless experience. We love the challenge of designing and creating something that is individual to you – whether you come to us with an idea in your head or your building plans or a cutting from a magazine or newspaper. We can build what you dream! Our design and build process goes through these stages – Come to our workshop to discuss your needs and start planning. We will draw up the plans and supply either basic or 3D drawings depending on the complexity of the design and your requirements. We supply you with a quote based on these drawings and then proceed to next stage once approved. Next you can peruse our timber samples and choose the materials to suit your design. Then we move to choosing the finishes for the timber – we only use a highly durable, hard finish 2-pack polyurethane. This gives a beautiful finish to painted services or enhances the grains in timber. You then can choose the finer details e.g kickboards or cupboard inserts. If samples are required we will make them for you. The cabinetry is then built in our workshop. Our clients are welcome at any time to drop in and see the progress. We also call you with regular updates. The building process takes approximately 2 to 8 weeks depending on complexity. We only build for 1 or 2 clients at a time to ensure focus and quality. The client then chooses the day they would like us to install and it is scheduled in. We can liaise with plumbers and electricians on your behalf if requested. If required we remove the old kitchen before installing the new. The installation of your new kitchen then begins and is ready in 2-3 days. All our work comes with a 10 year warranty.
