We specialise in commercial and domestic from modern contemporary to antique/traditional designs. We work with melamine, timber veneers and exotic solid timbers created locally from a selection of Australian and imported timbers including Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood, Blackbutt, Beechwood, Jarrah, and American Oak. We believe that it should be a great experience for our clients to have something hand crafted in Australia by our craftsman. The alternative to mass produced ordinary furniture. Fine Design Furniture Australia will work in conjunction with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, Project Managers and Building Contractors, as well as supplying product direct to the public. In fairness, the walls in my house are not straight and it was a difficult installation. However at the the completion of the job I have damage to my walls, ceilings, cornice and the cabinets themselves, which I must correct myself at my cost. At the premium pricing they charged this is unacceptable. The main problem though is their organisation and communication. A 1-2 day installation within a 1 week window became 4 days over a month due to poor time management and failure to do a detailed check measure. Simple emails went for weeks without a response. Orders placed with them were misplaced and only entered after 3 follow-ups. Lack of attention to detail was evident throughout. In the end it took more than 4 months to finalise our business. All of this cost me time, money and frustration which should have been avoided. If I had my time again I would have gone with one of the other (cheaper) quotes.
