We were very pleased with Dave’s workmanship in providing us quality wardrobes for all our bedrooms. Very easy to deal with, Dave and his team arrived when they say they would and completed their work in the most neat and tidy manner. Dave made sure things were properly finished even though it meant he had to come another day after our flooring was delayed.

I found Dave and Forest Joinery on Houzz, after searching for a good local joinery contact. Dave and his team had excellent, if not the best reviews on the app, so I decided to give him a call. After a quick 5 min chat, Dave also recommended a good builder for our renovation. Dave gave us excellent advice and tips on how we should structure the design and layout, opening up the kitchen area to create smart storage. The apartment went from having a tiny kitchen to a large open plan kitchen with lots of storage space. Dave also custom made our bathroom vanity, tv unit, linen closet, and built ins in the bedroom. He even created space for a study nook. He provides the highest quality brands, which I also loved. We’ve just moved in and love our new home, the quality of Dave’s joinery work is solid and very noticeable immediately. I’ve been to many renovated homes and even new ones, and it doesn’t even compare. We are SO GLAD we found Dave and his Forest joinery. I would’ve uploaded more pics of the rest of the work he did but the app restricts the number of pics. We’l definitely be keeping Dave’s contact for the next renovation. He’s a friendly, approachable and simple person to deal with, yet his knowledge is a cut above the rest! Its not easy finding good contacts for builders and joinery, I searched around for 2 months and can highly recommend Dave and his team. Reasonably priced, helped us with colour selection, made the whole process so easy. Thank you Dave! And thanks for getting us in before Christmas!!

David Gerson and his team at Forest Joinery were asked to re-design a laundry area which had seen better days. David's professionalism and eye for detail has ensured that our laundry is not only functional but aesthetically comfortable to the eye. The laundry has blended in perfectly with an adjoining bathroom and married in well with our recently renovated kitchen. Judith Dave did a complete makeover in our apartment, starting with restyling our kitchen. What a difference it has made. His economical use of space was amazing. By using drawers he converted a cupboard into a brilliant pantry which has given me more space than I could have wished for He transformed the study by adding sensational cupboards closing in a superfluous door and in the lounge a great TV unit combining textures and colours to suit the room. Added a new look to the bathrooms with great vanities and storage I would highly recommend Forest Joinery the workmanship is precision perfect and the attention to detail par excellence. Dave transformed our formal dining room into a stunning bedroom by installing a beautiful built-in wardrobe and shelving unit. We have a lovely old house with ornate plate rails and ceilings - his work has fitted in seamlessly and his ability to build with such precision, in a house where nothing is square, is testimony to his skill.

Dave did an excellent job building a tv/wall unit for my living room, from sourcing the materials, to designing and installing the unit. The work was efficient, professional (Dave and his team were exceptionally clean and left the space spotless) and the result is great.

Dave, the owner-operator of Forest Joinery, completed a fit-out of my walk-in pantry with total efficiency and professionalism. He provided carefully considered options, selected the best supplier for the hardware (Blum) and made some bespoke solutions to fit my particular needs. We worked with Dave on having two large wardrobes install, including one with a study nook, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. From the first inspection, Dave made us feel as though he was committed to making the right solution happen for the space, all the while still listening to our ideas on what we might like. Over the last year Dave has built large laundry cupboards and benches. Two floor to ceiling custom wardrobes and custom walk in robe. It's all superb work, Dave and Nick are super efficient and tidy. The whole process has been seamless and easy. Two thumbs up and the Mrs is very happy!.

I was recommended to Dave by a friend who had heard about his work. I found Dave to be extremely reliable and personable. He returned telephone calls and emails immediately upon receiving them, which is a rare quality amongst the tradesman I have dealt with. Dave and his team just installed new wardrobes in all our bedrooms! It wasn't an easy job as the wardrobes were back to back separating the bedrooms. Dave and his team did a great job removing the old, framing up for the new and installed some great wardrobes which maximized the limited space we had available.

Dave was extremely professional. I had a vision in mind for two sets of empty walls and he designed and brought my vision to life. His knowledge of which colours and looks would work together really helped make what would have been a functional space into a true work of art. Dave completed our kitchen renovation in May/Jun 2019. We got a few quotes but Dave was the most professional and reasonably priced. Dave managed the project from start to finish and the communication throughout was fantastic. As a client, we were a little uncertain of options for doors, drawers, wine rack fittings, etc and Dave advised us throughout the process of pros and cons. We were a little indecisive, but he always received our "change of mind" with a smile and no sign of frustration. He seemed to really take a pride in his work and he kept the place super clean, tidy and organised throughout the fitting - always vacuumed and swept up at the end of the day and took away all the packaging and excess. We were super happy with the result and I'd highly recommend Dave to anyone who wants a quality kitchen.

Dave has now completed 5 pieces of work for us from redesigning our kitchen making it more user friendly to designing and building his first cd free standing draw system. In total from the original job to the last it took around 9 months to complete but it suited us to do each piece this way so it gave us a bit of thinking time to come up with design features for each piece. Dave was more than accommodating over that entire period and came up with great ideas before each order was placed.
