“I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. I appointed Dani Louis, to initially get ideas on colour schemes, light fittings, kitchen and bathroom layouts etc. Dani, was extremely helpful and full of great ideas. The house has kept some of its original features ie VJ walls etc, but now blends in nicely, mixing old world with new. Dani has tremendous buying power and sources great deals on fittings, fixtures etc and passes on her savings for all items as part of her service, which was amazing because the savings added up to be a lot more than the fee she charged. “Jo provided a full interior design specification for the refurbishment of lift foyers for 21 levels and 12 Villas in a Residential Tower Complex at Kangaroo Point Brisbane. The design included all floor wall and ceiling colour charts, wallpaper, new carpet design for the floors and lift cars and mirrors and prints for the walls of each floor foyer, and new door furniture for all Apartment doors. Jo then managed the actual work including coordinating tradesmen, checking colours, carpet laying, and delivery and hanging of mirrors and prints.”

“Estelle designed, supplied and installed bespoke cabinetry for our master bedroom. She provided three concepts based on our brief, all of which were lovely and matched our aesthetic. However one stood out. The cabinets replaced some "temporary" Ikea drawers we purchased when we moved in. They look fabulous and have transformed the room (along with the custom curtains we sourced through Estelle just before Christmas). We have a few more items to go to finish the room, as we are doing it slowly as funds allow. It is the first time i have used an interior designer and i have been extremely happy.
