“We hired Zaher Architects to do a major renovation of our Coorabell residence commencing in 2016 and expected to be completed in March 2017. Sam and his trusty lieutenant Lucy have proved to be a highly skilled and professional team. The result so far has been a lovely but practical design which we expect will meet our budget. They have been very responsive to our requests and all deadlines have been met. Most importantly Zaher have been very flexible in accommodating changes and working with external consultants. Updates to follow!”

“We had the pleasure of working with Julie and her team on the substantial renovation of our home, Byron Plantation. It was a project over a couple of years. We had engaged 2 other architects before engaging Julie who had struggled to keep within our budget, so when we found Julie and she was totally practical and understanding our brief from day 1, we knew we had the right woman for the job. What we loved was the way Julie really thought about the practicalities of how a home works and how it needs to flow and worked through countless options with us at our pace to ensure we were 110% happy with the designs. Her ideas and suggestions were invaluable along the whole project. We appointed a builder who hadn't worked with Julie before, his feedback was that she was one of the best he had ever worked with, her drawings were so thorough and accurate it saved so much time and cost in the actual build, because they could just get on with it instead of constantly stopping to ask questions and make decisions. This is a critical part of any build and not to be under estimated. We are thrilled with the finished product, we love the home, it works, and Julie was a joy to deal with the whole way.”

“We engaged Louise Walsh to provide the interior decoration for our entire house - a large (2 level), brand new, architect designed home located at Merewether beach (Newcastle). The outcome has been simply stunning. Each of the living rooms, indoor and outdoor rooms, bedroooms and hallways are just perfect. Louise's talent, flair and attention to detail has resulted in an outcome that far exceeded our expectations. We essentially gave Louise a blank canvas - we didn't know what we wanted, yet we knew what we didn't want. By listening to our lifestyle, taste and preferences, Louise proposed a theme of contemporary coastal design, and from the initial concept presentation we were impressed and delighted by Louise's ideas and suggestions. Through the use of earthy colours and natural fibres such as linen, timber and stressed oak each room is warm, inviting and calming. Features include sculptural pendant lighting, stunning artwork, handwoven rugs and runners, custom sofas and oversized furniture pieces which fit our large spaces perfectly. Louise and her team are warm and engaging and were an absolute pleasure to deal with at all stages of the process. We will continue to have a long association with Louise Walsh Interiors over the coming years. Thankyou Louise and team for creating our dream home”
