I can help bring your ideas into a 3d pictorial so that you can better prove your ideas will work and to an accurate scale as well. This is called proof of concept. I can come out and measure your area, talk about your ideas and then produce 3d Images for you to view and adjust. You can then quote on your new project with various kitchen company's and builders which will save you time and allow you to receive quotes that are more comparable. Imagine everyone that is quoting will be using the same design. You will hold the master concept plan and can make changes as you like along the way. This is quite an enjoyable process as I can spend quality time with you getting everything right from the start in preparation for the quoting stage. Most people don't realize that when you go out to get a kitchen quote, the designers generally only have so much time that they can offer for free to give you a quote. They have to come out, measure, then come up with a design and then price it. This can take anywhere from 3 - 6 hrs depending on the scope of the design and budget. This is time that they cannot guarantee to be paid for so they actually limit there creative time in coming up with a design for your kitchen or joinery project that you will have to live with for many years to come. It has been said by an award winning building designer friend of mine that most of his time in designing his clients beautiful homes is spent on designing the kitchen and joinery throughout the home! Just think about that for a moment. A lot of architects charge about 3-10% of the construction price of the home for their services so if the home costs say 500 thousand dollars they could be asking $15,000 to $50,000 dollars for their design services and most of their time may be spent on the internal joinery. With this in mind I would like to offer my services but not at the rate of an architect. My rates are amazingly affordable and offer great value.
