“Barrett Crisco of Best Austin Handyman is the best in the business. I have been working on remodeling projects for 20 years, so I am quite familiar with all aspects of the work involved. I have worked on 4 family homes, two downtown condo complete remodels and one duplex remodel. Through the years I have worked with many contractors and I have to say Best Austin Handyman is the best of the best. For me they have done a complete roof, skylights, soundproofing and most recently an expansive spectacular deck overlooking Zilker Park. You name it, they can do it. There have been times I have changed my mind mid stream on a project and this company simply takes it in stride. Their goal is just aiming to please. Quotes are fair and most importantly they show up the day they say they will and do their best to complete jobs in the time quoted. 6 star rating for them if it were possible.”

“Kimball Bonamici is an extremely talented, hard working, and experienced interior designer. She has a great sense of design, is very easy to work with, and produces tangible results quickly. In 2009, I located Kimball through the ASID while I was searching for a design professional. I hired her to help me furnish a new townhouse. During our first meeting, we discussed options for covering 19 windows and sliding glass doors in my home. Kimball listened to my wishes and ideas then presented options for me to consider. She never pushed me to choose a particular window covering, but she directed me towards choices that were functional, good looking, and within my budget. Next, I worked with Kimball to replace the carpet that was installed by the builder. Again, Kimball listened to my interests then presented me with smart choices that met my needs and budget. Afterwards, I worked with Kimball to reupholster cushions on dining chairs that I moved from my previous home. Around the same time, we ordered area rugs for my dining area and halls. On both matters, Kimball worked with me to transform my ideas for fabrics and textures into smart product selections. Later, I worked with Kimball to select new furniture for my bedroom and main living area. Like before, Kimball listened to my ideas then recommended choices that looked good and worked well in my home. Kimball arranged for me to visit design showrooms in Dallas to view furniture. With Kimball's help, I narrowed my choices. Kimball priced different pieces and told me where I could get the best prices on the pieces I selected. Finally, Kimball worked with me to select fabrics and wood finishes. The advice that Kimball offered regarding fabrics and finishes made the end result striking. She helped me achieve the look that I wanted in my home. Kimball also worked with me to select replacement ceiling fans, to hang existing pieces of art, and to order custom mirrors for my bedroom and powder room. When any problems arose, Kimball and her husband Tom worked diligently to resolve them to my satisfaction. Even though my initial project is complete, I plan to continue to use Kimball's services to help with the placement of new pieces of art and the selection of furniture for my home office. The greatest value that Kimball provided was listening to my needs and wishes then transforming them into tangible results that fully met my expectations. I have great respect for Kimball and Tom. I highly recommend their services.”

When a manufacturer of back painted glass went out of business and their glue started showing through the glass, Anchor Ventana replaced the glass and researched an alternate glue to complete the project.”

Dawn understood perfectly what this client was looking for and was able to shop with them to choose the tile, fixtures, vanity style, granite, paint and stain colors in just one short shopping trip! She had excellent resources for everything from the custom cabinets to an extra-long shower curtain. She was extremely easy to work with and considered our (the remodeler) concerns as well as the homeowner's, which helped make the project run smoothly. “Artisan Remodeling provided a complete remodel of our first floor living space including kitchen. They removed several structural walls to open up the space. Demolishing to the studs and rebuilding the kitchen, brought a sun room floor up to level with the rest of the first floor. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work and the respectfulness of each and every worker in our home. Communication was excellent, he stuck to his original bid numbers, (even when I made some not so small changes) he seems to have experience with every little detail you might throw at him. I consider Shawn and his team to be craftsmen, not just workers; and they treat each other like family. We have new floors, walls, windows, custom cabinets, expansive island, additional square feet added, ceilings raised, new electric; it was a big job and we were pleased every step of the way. We lived upstairs while the work was done and friends would comment, "This is the cleanest work site I have ever seen". They swept and cleaned every day prior to leaving and were careful to watch for stray nails as we have young children. If I have any further work to be done Artisan will be my first and only call.”

This team cares about the quality of work during every phase from the bidding of the contract to the last item needing to be done. Anne who does all the bidding is one of the most patient people as this phase is the going back and forth from contrator to customer phase. She never gets irritated with questions, no matter how many you ask! Chad, the owner is as professional as it gets, putting only the highest quality of work to his name. Glen, who does much of the labor is one of the most laid back guys I have ever come across, who does the highest quality of work and he is incredibly trustworty. You never have to worry about any of these guys in your house if you are working. They know what needs to be done and you do not have to worry about any of it getting done correctly. They take great pride in what they do and will correct any issues that may come up as this is part of the remodel process from time to time. The quality of work is surperb. They have remodeled two bathrooms for us and we are incredibly happy with both. We still have a master bath to remodel and would use them again in a heartbeat.”
