About Us

Carrie Deverson Interiors provides a complete design, selection and installation service, including paint colours, tiles, floor coverings, soft furnishings, artwork, furniture and lighting. With a career spanning more than 25 years as an Adelaide based Interior Decorator and Designer, Carrie Deverson is passionate about all aspects of decorating...the pattern of beautiful fabrics and wallpapers, colours, designing a bespoke piece of furniture and how they all work together. Carrie is well known for her innate sense of colour, scale and proportion and continuity. Whether a complete new build, a renovation or simply a refresh, Carrie works closely with her clients to create a personalised scheme, tailor made to their tastes and lifestyle. During her career, Carrie has accumulated access to exclusive fabrics, furniture, lighting and accessories. Her experience has enabled her to accrue the best tradespeople such as builders, installers, curtain and blind manufacturers, cabinetmakers, furniture manufacturers and upholsterers. Carrie works from her interior design studio in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills. Consultation is by appointment.

I asked Carrie to help me with fabric choices as I wanted to update our living area and have our sofas recovered. What I really liked about Carrie from the start apart from being very friendly and pleasant was that she listened. Carrie didn't hurry me in the decision making and suggested a few extra touches that brought the room together using our existing rug and floor lamp. Sofas recovered, two new side tables, a feature lamp and scatter cushions and the room has been totally refreshed and looks wonderful. We are very pleased with the end result.

It was clear to me from the very beginning that I was in great hands with Carrie The brief was to transform our family room into a relaxing, inviting room to entertain friends. Her choice of colours and fabrics coupled with samples and pictures was fabulous. She was able to source suppliers within our budget and we are so delighted with her work ,that we have asked her to do another project upstairs.
