Kitchen Trends

We recently hired Kitchen Trends to renovate our kitchen, and chose them above a "ma and pa" shop as we thought we were dealing with a reputable vendor. Unfortunately they have left our job unfinished and we are having great difficulty getting any answers from them (phones are diverted, display room closed, no answer to emails). The craftsmanship on the work that was completed is excellent (cabinets), however we have not received our stone countertops, and therefore are left with no counter, no stove, no sink, no running water, no rangehood, no kicks. They are well beyond the agreed practical completion date. We have also discovered that they did not purchase QBCC Home warranty insurance on our renovation which is a regulatory requirement within 10 days of signing the contract. This has left us without a completed kitchen, and no protection through QBCC. I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

I just spent Christmas holiday at home cooking in my beautiful Trends kitchen. I am so happy with the design functionality and the team from Trends were nothing short of amazing. Trish my designer promised i would get my kitchen finished and working before christmas - and they delivered on time. My site supervisor Luke kept me informed every step of the way through the process. Everyone was on time and did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kitchen Trends to anyone wanting a custom designed kitchen.

We were probably one of those nightmare clients, you know the ones that come in with a set idea, sign off and then makes 100 changes. We were so indecisive about what we wanted and our designer was great to deal with, she held our hand every step of the way and suggested things we hadn't even thought of. All changes were made without a fuss and the installation was seamless. Even more surprising was that will the tradesmen arrived exactly when they said they would. The cabinetry was exactly as we wanted it down to the last details of usb charging points in one of the drawers where I keep my phone, keys and wallet so I don't lose them anymore. Our cooktop is better than I thought, even though my wife uses it much more than me haha. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and love coming home to our new kitchen. We can't wait to host Christmas with the grandkids this year.

Our new kitchen looks fantastic! Great communication from both designer & project manager. Any problems we raised were acknowledged & rectified promptly. Quality of 2 pac finish is exceptional. Pricing is locked in at the design stage so you know exactly what you are getting & how much you are paying.

After several quotes and visits to various kitchen construct and install organisations we chose Kitchen Trends because of the professional attitude of the sales and design staff and the high quality and most pleasant, modern surroundings at their showroom. Our choice proved to be a very wise one indeed. Once we signed up and moved to construction stage their staff were polite, always communicating with us and took great care to limit disruption to both our home and ourselves. They provided us with a project schedule and they turned up when they said they would and they did what they said they would do. In fact I thing the install was completed a little ahead of time. As the project progressed we made some changes to the original designs we signed off on and on every occasion it was never too much trouble and managed in a timely manner. Since project completion we have identified a few minor issues, some so minor I could have fixed them myself but as soon as I advised them of the points I picked up on they insisted on rectifying them to my complete satisfaction. Kitchen Trends are not the cheapest we found but were definitely the best and and with installing something into your home that could be there in daily use for 20 years, you need to make choices and decisions very carefully. I would be very happy to recommend Kitchen Trends to any prospective customer and if I ever have the need, will certainly use them again. Pat Hobson. Southport
