“My first ever renovation project was handled by CID, who came highly recommended by a neighbour. They were extremely patient and thorough, starting initial discussions while I was overseas and guiding me through all of the steps from measurements to plans to choosing materials and appliances to project managing the trades. It is easy to judge CID’s design skills for yourself by looking at examples of recent jobs on their website. But their project management skills are also impressive, and were critical to successfully completing the renovation on time and on budget. I understand that getting quotes for work from trades can normally take several weeks if not months, but the team at CID were able to get the entire project (three bathrooms, a kitchen and a laundry) costed in less than two weeks, and then re-costed in under a week when I needed to adjust the scope of the work. Dana in particular managed the schedule of work and directly handled negotiations with my strata management as well as her vendors and trades. She personally ensured that the project stayed to time, including driving to Sydney and back to obtain plumbing fittings that were not in stock in Canberra. A few things out of our control did go wrong along the way, but she was quick to communicate any issues to me and propose options to resolve them without blowing out the budget. And the end result is absolutely beautiful. I would work with her and her team again any time.”

Craig and his team are easy to work with and deliver a product that is of the highest possible standard. Living in a home that is tailor made to your taste and needs is a dream come true. There is nothing that I do not like about my renovated home - the light colours, breezy curtains, fabulous kitchen with it's marble topped island, as well as the insulated ceiling and walls, reverse cycle air conditioning and solar power make it a joy to live in. It is so different to the original home, and was so worth the outlay. I found ACT Renovations to be honest and careful to work within budget, although I must admit that I did succumb to temptation and upgraded on a couple of items. If you want to upgrade your home, and want a high quality product, do yourself a favour and give ACT Renovations a call. You will be so glad that you did.”
