From the moment I spoke to Francois I knew they were the one's to create my dream kitchen. From the outset of the concept of my kitchen, working on the design together and then Olda crafting such a superb, top quality finish - it was beyond anything I could have ever imagined in the first place. The service is impeccable, the finished product is exceptional and I could not be more pleased with the finish. I would highly recommend Wood Works if you are looking to create a bespoke masterpiece!

Woodworks Brighton is just amazing! We are incredibly happy with our built in wardrobes. Rhys was brilliant, professional, polite and more than happy to help in and way he could to get the wardrobes as we wanted them. Francois created a really beautiful bespoke kitchen for us, way beyond what I had envisaged. I had initially gone to other kitchen companies, but felt that for the price that they quoted, that I was compromising on the design that I wanted. I had a clear idea of the layout and style which Francois enhanced with the detailing, materials and craftmanship. As with any bespoke, complex build there were a few tweaks along the way, but Francois was always charming and all the snagging was completed to total satisfaction. It is a totally unique and beautiful kitchen that I enjoy in so many ways. I would use Woodworks Brighton for any bespoke carpentry in the future.

It’s been a really good experience working with Francois. In the planning stages he took time to encourage me to work out what I wanted, and really helped me to visualise the kitchen. Those first design suggestions immediately made me feel as if Francois was tuning in to my style, as it were, and it was a lot of fun to have that creative exchange. The design evolved as we got nearer to the build date, and throughout the process I have been so impressed by the team’s skills and resourcefulness. I had been expecting to wait longer than I did for the kitchen to be built and it was such a nice surprise when the date was earlier than estimated. Another plus was that the final costs were within the budget that I had discussed with Francois - which is amazing in these times of rising material prices and is another indication of how great and ethical a company they are. I had been super anxious about how the project would all come together with the other trades, timings etc but Francois, Adam and the team were very friendly, very cool, and very professional and it has all happened amazingly smoothly. I am incredibly pleased with my beautiful kitchen and would highly recommend Wood Works Brighton.

The team at Wood Works were so professional from start to finish. They created amazing bespoke wardrobes and really listened to what we wanted and needed throughout the design process. The installation of the project went smoothly and the team left the room spotless when finishing. We now have stunning wardrobes and are planning the next project with the team. Communication throughout was easy, with the team providing quick replies. Nothing appeared too much trouble for them. They were open with their time frames, which we appreciated. There was a slight delay as secondary to the pandemic, jobs were delayed. However the team were realistic about this and gave updates, which we appreciated. After sounding out four firms in all, my wife and I commissioned Woodworks to build a new kitchen for us, including project-managing other providers (painter/decorator, tiler, electrician, plumber). Francois and his team were superb in helping us achieve the perfect design. Regarding installation, their attention to detail and perfectionist approach were just what we wanted. Due to Covid it took a little longer than we originally thought but we are delighted with the end result!

Woodworks made two fitted wardrobes for us. One was straightforward the other more complex with curved oak ply and a concealed sliding door behind. I designed both of them and they worked from my drawings. We are really pleased. Adam who built them and came to fit was a lovely guy and worked hard to get it all fitted well. Worth the long wait!

Brighton woodworks were superb from start to finish. We worked with them to create bespoke storage solutions in our hallway and bedroom and the results are both stunning and practical. Francois designed everything with meticulous attention to detail and no request was too much. Adam the carpenter was first rate and Eren is simply the best painter we have ever met.

Woodworks were absolutely fantastic designing and building our new kitchen. We were very specific with what we hoped to achieve in the room with a relatively left field design that raised a few eyebrows! I've worked with Wood Works on various projects. As an interior designer I need to be able to reply on a great team to deliver on projects for my clients. The guys have always gone above and beyond for my clients. They are very professional, trustworthy and their workmanship is exceptional. My two double wardrobes built in a loft conversion are of excellent quality. I had already used Woodworks Brighton for two other alcove wardrobes. The team are very helpful - they come up with suggestions for designs and practicality if you need guidance. They incorporated an IKEA trouser rack as it was the right size and very cost effective. A little chasing up was needed as there was a COVID lockdown lapse and a wait of 5 months! There were no mistakes in the design and the wardrobe was made in one day. The carpenter had to return on two brief occasions to finish off door fittings and skirting boards. I don't think anyone else makes solid wood bespoke furniture like them.

We commissioned Wood Works to design and fit bespoke built-in shelving/cupboard units for the living room and 4 built-in wardrobes for the bedrooms. Francois and his team were professional and inspired full confidence throughout the process from design to implementation. Adam, who made and fitted the cupboards and wardrobes, clearly takes great pride in his work and the detail and finish was of a very high standard. He was also incredibly hard working, diligent and committed to the work. Friends have complemented the craftsmanship of the cupboards and we were so happy with the results that we subsequently asked Wood Works to design and build a desk and drawers to fit in an alcove in our daughter’s bedroom. I commissioned Wood Works around a year ago for a bespoke bedroom design. The project took a little longer than anticipated due to covid and also as they were extremely busy. I approached two other companies, who were able to start much sooner, however I felt that Francois and his team had a much better approach, vision and understanding as to what I wanted to achieve. The end result was simply outstanding. Outstanding carpentry and excellent quality. The sub contractors used used for electrical and painting was also second to none. I would highly recommend wood works as a professional and reliable company. Better for something to take a little longer which delivers outstanding results than for a job to be rushed. 10/10.

Following on from a total refurbishment of my house, I commissioned Francois and his team to install a new kitchen, fit out storage in the main bathroom and en-suite, and install a new staircase to the new attic room. Despite the problems caused by Covid-19 we worked closely together and I have I have to say I'm delighted with the results. Dillon was able to bring my kitchen design to life. He took on board small additions without complaint, as well as coming up with ideas of his own. The staircase was way beyond my wildest dreams, and both Adam and Dillon worked late into the day to finish the job. Friends, some of whom are interior designers in the USA, have been blown away. They are a team you can rely on to do an excellent job and obviously take great pride in their work, something that I've learnt is not always the case. I've posted pictures of the staircase, with further pictures of the rest of the work to follow.

I had a very good experience with Wood Works. They took time to plan everything well before the fit, communicated thoroughly, although it was clear that they were very busy, and on the day took their time to make sure that it was fitted in the best way possible. And at a very reasonable cost. Such a relief to work with skilled people who care about the quality of their work. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service from Wood Works. Francois and his team are very talented, creative and committed to delivering the best carpentry. We had an awkward angled area under stairs which we wanted a bespoke fitted storage solution for and from the start Francois was brilliant in providing design solutions. We were allocated Adam from the team who managed the build and install who was excellent, he made sure the unit exceeded our expectations. They also managed the project during Covid, where managing timelines was tricky given the situation but Francois communicate well throughout and we managed to get the unit installed as soon as the restrictions relaxed. Super impressed with the finished result!

Brilliant design and craftsmanship from Francois, Olga and team. They were patient in developing the design with us, bringing excellent ideas of their own and enthusiastically incorporating ours (and our daughter's) through all too numerous iterations. And the quality of the installation and materials was exceptional. Only reason not a five star was there was a mistake with the initial measurements, which set us back a little. But otherwise first class. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. And lovely people too.

Francois and his team built some beautiful alcove cabinets for our lounge. The quality is exceptional and the installation process very smooth. They are busy though, so get in early.

Wood Works Brighton have recently completed a bespoke kitchen for us, including a striking curved kitchen island and floor to ceiling china cupboard. It is practical and beautiful, and a delight to use. Wood Works took our ideas and transformed them into a unique kitchen. We were kept informed every step of the way to ensure that our dream matched theirs. Each cupboard is beautifully constructed. Francois’s team were polite, efficient and tidy! We have other projects lined up already for them!

Francois and his team did a great job designing and fiting two beautiful built in wardrobes/desks in our daughters bedrooms. They greated the much needed storage space we were looking for for all the toys/books etc. We are delighted with the quality and finish of the products and found the whole process extremely easy and stress free. Francois and his ridiculously talented team have designed and created some wonderful bespoke fitted furniture for us - new wardrobes, tv unit, media unit for my husbands ever expanding vinyl collection & a fantastic shelving unit, made from solid oak and steel, which helps zone our open plan space brilliantly. It was a huge plus for me that they create the pieces off site in their warehouse, which meant much less mess in my house! We are so happy with everything they have made for us. We were having a new kitchen put in a relatively small space, and had gone back and forth between getting an off-the-shelf kitchen from one of the big kitchen companies, versus getting a custom built one. We ultimately had a new kitchen built and fitted by Francois's team, and are absolutely delighted with the outcome! Build customre fitted wardrobes on our landing. Whole process took about 3 weeks end to end. The quality of the finished product surpassed our expectations entirely - incredible attention to detail and fantastic craftsmanship. Wood Works designed and built a custom fitted series of shelving units to finish off our new library. Built into the former loft space the design required close attention to the various unusual angles and this was achieved expertly. The units were also designed with a channel on each shelf to incorporate LED strip lighting which provides an excellent finish. The end to end process from design to installation was completed in a punctual, friendly and very professional manner and we're delighted with the end result. We highly recommend them to others.

Wood Works provides proper high-quality joinery. They built me a bespoke kitchen for not much more money than a reasonable quality off-the-shelf kitchen specialist. And a gorgeous, unique set of staircases that provoke admiring intakes of breath from visitors. First - the designs are exactly what I wanted (no nudging me towards a compromise based on what was in the stock room); and they're based on a solid understanding of what looks right. I had several very specific design features in mind, and they've all been delivered. The staircases, in particular, have transformed the look and feel of the interior of my house. Second - this is a real craftsman-based atelier, with one person building in the workshop and then fitting on site - almost a guarantee of quality in itself. Third - the attention to detail sets the company apart. Everything fits perfectly, butts up against other features elegantly and is finished cleanly. So - brilliant design and perfect execution. What more could you want!

Fantastic 375cm long wardrobe made by Wood Works, we worked on the design together and they were very patient with us until we got it right. Once they had completed building it in their workshop the assembly at home was very efficient and they were clean and tidy. Everyone I show thinks they look amazing and we would definitely recommend them.

We have been to few kitchen stores and nearly went with a chain but we felt we wanted something more personal and after discussing what we envisaged with Francois he and his team managed to help us achieve that without any compromise and gave us a beautiful kitchen that was a reflection of our taste and style ,and we managed to achieve it within our budget . Wood Works built our kitchen, utility and walk in wardrobes. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout the project and were very accommodating at fitting in with the rest of the trades people on site - it was busy! We are delighted with our Wood Works kitchen; it's solid, elegant but unpretentious. The thick ply which it's made of should outlast any chipboard kitchen. We got the design we wanted and it worked for us. So 5 stars? Well I think WW and the kitchen deserve them, but there were a few issues with the installation that didn't go 100% right, with installation of the worktop. In fairness, they did say they had no experience with the slate we chose, which furthermore was cut a bit large for the space. But WW put right what had gone wrong and we love the result.

After getting many companies to design and quotes for our loft stairs we decided to go with Brighton wood work and we glad we did as we are extremely happy with work done by Francois Damseaux and his team. They are very professional workers with great team to finish job st highest standard. along the way we had few issues of wrong size glass panels which took longer time to finish then given time scale but it was all sorted and fitted with splendid design. I highly recommend them and thinking of getting my bedroom wardrobe done with them in near future. Keep it up with great quality work guys.

Wood Works Brighton designed, made and fitted our dream birch ply kitchen. We had specific details and finishes in mind for the design, which Wood Works incorporated and delivered on perfectly. Apon an initial meeting to talk through our ideas, the Wood Works team carried out a full site inspection, measure up of the space, and created a full CAD visual of the actual design and space for us to see. We were able to further input into the design at this stage to make sure we were receiving everything we wanted, and also given helpful and practical advice on certain aspects we had initially thought might work. Once we had signed off the design, the work on construction began, and soon after our kitchen was perfessionally fitted on site. We were very happy with the professionalism and craftsmanship of all the Wood Works team, and would highly reccomend their services to friends, family and beyond. it is obvious to say that a bespoke kitchen costs more than standard 'off the shelf' units, but what we have received is a kitchen that not only fits our space and functional needs perfectly, it by far exceeds our expectations of what we thought we could afford.
