Empire Lane Landscape Design

Nice design but not practical. 10 years on after receiving a soft scape design by ceri at empire lane (mostly planting minimal hard structures), the garden cannot grow like it was designed. The sunlight the garden receives is not able to grow the plants as per the design. Nice design, but not honestly practical to actually work for proper plant health and growth. We’ve spent countless hours and dollars trying to get the garden looking like the plan but due to the plant selection and design it simply just doesn’t work. And due to the time and money we’ve put in to it we never know when to just quit trying to achieve it since we’re already in so far with the cost.

Could tell immediately that Ceri was an experienced landscaper, she took on board our wishes, provided helpful suggestions, was responsive to correspondence, and ultimately gave us a beautiful garden design that exceeded our expectations.

Ceri designed and built us the most gorgeous front yard to enhance our California Bungalow and it still looks gorgeous three years later. It works in all seasons, is practical and easy to maintain - we love it!

We engaged the services of Empire Lane in 2013 to provide landscape design services for our back garden. The original space no longer suited the style of our home nor was it suitable for social gatherings as there was no formal structure for protection against the sun. We also wanted a small swimming pool. Our requirements were captured during the initial consultations and was transposed into an outstanding creative design that we would never of dreamt of. Through the numerous consultation meetings we ended up with an outstanding back garden which has attracted some great comments from our friends and neighbours. We were so happy with the landscape design for our back garden, we engaged Empire Lane to redesign our front garden in 2014. The end result was amazing, it really lifted, complemented and modernised the look of our home. The whole process was easy. Empire Lane has designed and constructed2 gardens for me over the past five years.
