Michelle created a beautiful plan for our garden. She incorporated all our ideas and added lots of her own. We also appreciated her industry contacts that helped in the construction phase of our landscaping project. We are delighted with the end result.

Michelle was recommended by a friend as we were looking for a landscape gardener for our new project in Taupo.. We met with Michelle to discuss our property and our preferred colours and look. Michelle came to site and took the required details to create her plan. When we were presented with the plan and went through it in detail we were enthused by her vision and knowledge. Our property is finished now and the garden enhances our cedar house beautifully. It was a pleasure dealing with Michelle and we would not hesitate to recommend her.

Michelle McD0nnell was very professional as she interacted with us for an overall landscape design She had a blank canvas for the plan as it was a design for a new house. She listened to our ideas and then drew up a very attractive plan , complimenting our house design and we believe, adding good value to our property. I loved working with Michelle. I had had disappointing experiences previously so was nervous about selecting a designer. However Michelle was both professional and approachable. She designed my relatively small garden, front and back, giving me exactly what I envisaged. I went to Michelle on recommendation and so happy I did. Michelle and team designed the perfect entrance garden, outdoor entertainment area, pool area and raised vegetable garden for me. My husband uses walking sticks or a wheelchair daily so Michelle incorporated ramps to allow full access to the house and garden from every door of our house. Michelle listened to what we wanted, altered design as needed and delivered the perfect plans. Truly amazing design on the entire outdoor areas of our house. Michelle enhanced the look, feel and value of our home creating street envy and to this day it’s surreal. The Designs were to what we asked for and full use of space has made our home our sanctuary.

We approached Michelle to assist us with the design of a garden for our new build. The site had three road frontages, so our priorities were to create some privacy, ensure the visitor entry on one road frontage was distinct from back entrance on the other road frontage and include sitting areas outside each bedroom. Also a priority was the flow of the garden around the house, low maintenance and a range of fragrant blooms for picking. Michelle visited our site and prepared a comprehensive garden plan for review. Michelle made the whole process enjoyable and fun, completely allaying our concerns with creating a private environment on a very public site. Michelle recommended a planting plan and following discussion sourced the major structural planting elements. Her detailed plan, which we have implemented over the past 10 months was the blueprint for our contractors to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed Michelle’s congenial approach to creating a garden that met with our wishes and we are delighted than within less than a year it is looking quite established and receiving glowing comments from our neighbourhood.
