Debbie and the team at Orterra were amazing in bringing our garden/landscaping ideas to reality! We had a rough concept and idea of plant style we wanted, but there is no way we could have come up with the design; plant selection and layout without their help. The service was a game changer and really did put the finishing touches on our renovation project. Additionally, the care Debbie took in the selection of the plants, then guidance on delivery day, even down to being on site to set it out as per the plans and provide ongoing guidance was invaluable. We hired Orterra to design a landscape design for our new build at Cornubia. They listened patiently to what we wanted even as our ideas evolved and changed during the design process and worked with us for any changes needed. The site is a bit difficult with a long steep driveway, needing stair access and tiered garden levels. They came up with a beautiful landscape design for us based of our vision of a hedged garden with a coastal feel blending it with the house design. Debbie included little pockets of seating areas that had never occurred to us, like a seating area looking at a feature urn. She created a gorgeous curved driveway that adds grandeur and balances the retaining wall with the house and letterbox The planting palette blew me away, all my favourite trees and shrubs all thoughtfully laid out. The lighting plan and materials palette was amazing too. I definitely recommend engaging Orterra to do your design Cheers Laura

Debbie was excellent. I am a terrible gardener and Debbie took thing into account when designing my landscaping as a primary concern. She designed an outdoor space that requires minimum up keep and has provided me advice and clear guidance on how to do the little maintenance required.

I moved to an inner Melbourne apartment setting, with a massive balcony, and wanted expert advice on how to set it up and what the best plants and trees would be good for the specific location. Debbie from Orterra was brilliant. She visited the balcony and immediately saw the connection between the river it faced and the balcony and, also, my desire for growing vegetables and then came up with just the best plan to capture and bring in the warmth to this space. Her proposal was a great step-by-step guide for me to then implement the dream. Can't thank Debbie enough for being on board with this project, I will be forever truly grateful.
