Phillip Withers

Philip Withers is truly a creative prifessinal. He has realistic and workable ideas which cater for a family of young boys and pets. He stretches your creative ideas and ideals for a garden which is contemporary, unique, hardy and practical. He works well with existing garden structures and limitations rather than against them - he has vision. Phil led me through the landscape process with patience and clarity, despite the interruptions of daily life with 2 young boys and a puppy. He was a friendly and welcoming visttor to our home.

Phillip Withers Design worked with us to create a comprehensive and well thought out landscape plan for our front and rear gardens. Phil was very helpful with advice on what to plant - including colour, style, maintenance and drought resistance. We're very happy with what he has collaboratively created for us.

Phil designed a revamped backyard garden for us. He inspected our existing backyard space and spent at least one hour discussing my ideas and plant prefences. The next step was a meeting at Gardenworld, where we walked around the centre identying my preferences for plant types, colour etc. Phil used this information to design a contemporary garden for us. The final stage involved Phil visiting our house again to discuss his final design. Phil presented as very engaging and approachable. He was interested in my ideas and thoughtful about how his design would fit with our house and lifestyle. The whole experience was informative and enjoyable and resulted in a highly creative and innovative backyard garden design.
