Selena designed our garden and outdoor living space that reflected the character of our home and the needs of our family. She combined foliage and flowers, hard and soft surfaces to be both functional and beautiful, and created changing focal points to enjoy as seasons change. She also helped tremendously during construction with plant selection, paving selection, pool design, pool tiles and linings, clothesline placement, driveway selection, retaining wall finishes, pathways, fences, gates, lawn levels, tree transplanting... the list goes on! She also introduced a wonderful team of tradesmen to help implement the design - all of whom I would happily work with again. Selena continues to help me with any queries I have and is a delight to work with.

Selena was a pleasure to work with. She was attentive to the practical needs of a family with young children. We wanted a garden which created space for children to play, but also provided adult areas for relaxation. Selena provided practical solutions to update a rundown pool. She transformed a cold, formal courtyard into a beautiful, relaxed outdoor dining area which included a built-in BBQ and a lovely water feature which made use of existing plumbing. Selena retained the well established plants of the garden and recommended suitable plants to plant alongside them. Selena was an excellent liaison between the arborists, builders, architect and landscapers. Selena provided research of her plant choices, helped to source materials including stonework, pots and statues. Although work was completed 18 months ago, she continues to provide advice and suggestions when we need it. I highly recommend Selena to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and livable garden for their home.

Selena Hannan Landscape Design did a brilliant job of renovating our garden on Sydney's northern beaches. Working with a difficult windswept site Selena created a dramatic native garden with rustic sandstone walls, paths and stairs - and with plants that thrive in the conditions. She also transformed our small courtyard from a struggling, weed prone mess into a lush tropical retreat that is maintenance free. Magic! We were so pleased with the results we asked if she could work on our small rural property. She prepared plans for a country cottage garden, and renovated a poorly constructed dam into a beautiful water feature. The results have been stunning. Selena has a talent for creating beautiful spaces. She combines practical knowledge with a real eye for design. Highly recommended!
