Space Landscape Design helped us achieve a great result with our backyard and outddor living area .The transformation was from a lovely, mostly garden space to a fantastic back deck living space with an awesome pool/spa design We are really enjoying our new space . The design enabled us to retain a lovely garden feel which is more organised and frames our backyard well whilst allowing much better use of space. Amanda and Jason were responsive to our questions and provided constructive feedback on our ideas.They guided us through our concerns to a great outcome .They also liased with the pool company and builder to achieve the end outcome which we are very happy with.

I would highly recommend Space landscape designs. They were prompt in their response throughout a complex & lengthy DA application process. They put forward suggestions on landscape design (plant selection) and façade designs that fell within the job spec beautifully. They were happy to accommodate last minute changes and produced quality plans that were suitable for use by other related entities involved on the project. I would use them again in future.

We engaged Jason and the team at Space Landscape Designs to help with getting the design correct for our pool. Our original plan was to project manage the build ourselves but we quickly realised that our busy lives and the fact that we were only going to build a pool once is was better to get an expert who had all the relationships and understood the complexity ahead of us. The decision to have Space project manage the project proved to be invaluable when we ran into issues (mostly below the ground or due to an older home) they were quickly resolved and the overall design was preserved. The end result is an entire transformation of our back yard into something very special and unique for our family and has increased the value of our property. After several web searches and houzz reviews, I got in touch with Space Landscapes Design last year 2017. My house is under construction at that time and needed a company who will design the landscaping of the entire back yard and front yard. From the time of query to the actual design delivery, the entire experience with SLD was very pleasant. Amanda listened and promptly replied to all my questions. I have engaged Space twice. Firstly for the initial plans for the front, sides and back gardens for a new home and more recently for a complete upgrade to my front garden with lighting, stonework and tropical plants. The recent upgrade plans have delivered on my vision and then taken it to another level with a stunning approach to drawing the eye into a compact but curved stepping stone approach from a beautiful stone wall, through balinese stone lighting to the timber front steps. Plantings are unique, interesting and stunning in colour and range. The lighting is subtle and soft. Great service from the team with minimal fuss in arriving at a beautiful solution.

I have used Amanda and Jason twice now to help me design two gardens with great success. People love the 3 courtyards they designed and then helped me find great landscapers to make it happen for a small townhouse in Cammeray. And most recently they were fab to work with to design the layout for a much bigger garden in St Ives. Even though, my project is in the Middle East and Space Landscape is based in Austraila, I have received an excellent design that meets my expectation. Space Design were fantastic in assist us design our landscape. They knew exactly what we wanted and made the whole process so simple. The out come was a gorgeous entertaining area, gardens and pool.

Jason and the team @ Space design were recommended to us when we were thinking about getting our backyard designed. We probably looked at 6 design companies overall where each had an initial meeting to discuss our brief and initial thoughts / costs. We selected Space design and now that the work has been completed are incredibly excited about not only what design we have come up with but also the construction phase ahead. Some initial thoughts around what we really enjoyed about the partnership. #1 it was a partnership - we had a brief / mood board etc but Space Design had their own interpretations / thoughts and learnings which were really beneficial as we have never done something like this #2 Responsive - We would describe the Space team as always on ie we always had a response back within the day and an indication about when we would receive something. So expectations were always managed and phone calls always returned promptly #3 End Result - yes we had a few rounds of amends and it was always managed and was never a problem. Jason has done an amazing job in making our pool and landscaping job easy. He navigated the complex world of council requirements effectively and coming up with a great design that works for us. I would definately use space landscape designs for any future jobs.

I’d never used a landscape design company before and after some research, I came across Jason and Amanda at Space Landscape Designs. You know you’re off to a good start when the first email is responded to promptly, meetings are set up with ease and everything runs like clockwork. That was my first impression and it just got better. The project involved the design of retaining walls, planting and associated works as part of a long term renovation to modernise a very old style and ill kept garden. Jason’s recommendations on materials hit the mark straight away. He suggested some excellent finishes, suppliers and contractors to help with the work. Amanda stepped in with her expertise on planting and I’ve got an outstanding job, well managed and on budget.

We recently used the services of Space Landscape Designs for our backyard design. We have a large backyard with a pool, entertaining deck and large rockery area. We found the services of Space Landscape Designs to be very professional, knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile especially since I had so many questions. We had many obstacles in our backyard which also included the removal of a large gum tree and several levels through our rockery which needed to be redone. She has now totally redesigned the whole backyard ensuring that the look and feel is modern and fits with our coastal location while still flowing into bushland at the back of our property. The implementation was seamless and we are thrilled with the end results.

We engaged Amanda at Space Designs to come up with a landscaping design for our upcoming knock-down rebuild project on Sydney's northern beaches. Unlike a couple of other landscape designers we'd spoken to previously, her ideas were practical and sensible for our block and impending new home, while still being interesting and attractive. Apart from someone in their office being a bit over-zealous in chasing up the final payment the well before the design was finalised, they've been great to deal with. Their design cost was reasonable and Amanda was able to come and see us at short notice. Will also shortly be asking them for their recommendations re landscape contractors and are confident we can trust their judgement. Really looking forward to how it's going to turn out in real life!
