Angelus Landscapes Limited began over 20 years ago, while I was studying at Massey University. I completed the Certificate in Horticultural Science, and 75% of a B.Applied Science, before the business demanded my full attention and put a hold on further study. 'Angelus’ is based in Nelson and the majority of commissions have been in the Nelson - Tasman region, but we've also undertaken many other commissions throughout New Zealand. The business developed very quickly into a successful 'design and build’ landscaping company, that catered for residential, commercial and corporate projects. We have a great team who are experienced, honest, reliable and take pride in our work. We also have a strong network of tradesmen that we've worked with over the years. Some twelve years ago I established a vineyard (and then produced some reasonable wine), while continuing to accept landscaping commissions. The vineyard provided valuable experience in designing, managing and working a `lifestyle' block using the most sustainable methods.

Landscape Architecture is the bridge between people and their environment. Rory Langbridge Landscape Architects (RLLA) was established in Nelson in 1999. The focus of our practice is on providing site planning and design expertise followed by the preparation of clear contract documents and their successful administration. Our practice has experience of both large and small sites, working successfully alongside clients and other consultants such as surveyors, architects, civil, electrical, fire and mechanical engineers, irrigation consultants, quantity surveyors and project managers. With this experience, we have an excellent understanding of project workings and constraints in a variety of scales and operating within a design team environment. We are experienced in producing comprehensive and detailed documentation for site planning and detail design work, leading to contract documentation and contract administration.
