“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

I now have a incredible flag stone sitting area surrounded by boulders, timber and trees. The elevated berms give my yard demension. The trees and shrubs give me the privacy I wanted. “I hired Ben to do a full-scale front and rear-yard landscaping project on a "small-ish" city lot in an urban neighborhood. The project included quite a bit of hardscape and soft-scape, and Ben listened carefully to my vision for what I wanted and devised a plan to match those specifications. Now my patio and small backyard feels like an extension of my family room, which is exactly what I wanted. The crew who completed the work commenced the project immediately and worked tirelessly for three weeks until it was finished. They were extremely professional, careful, and courteous. Ben was also very helpful to resolve an issue that arose with the next door neighbor, which was going above and beyond what I hired him to do. I could not be happier with the results!”

“We had a boring cement slab with gravel in our back yard. It was depressing and needless to say, we never spent any time in there Courtney came in, presented creative, cost-conscious ideas, and literally transformed our backyard into a lush space that we use all the time. She knew we were terrible with plants, so she used only plants that could survive our neglect - and they have! Two years on, we could not be happier. EVERY tree, plant, and flower continues to thrive, and we are thrilled with the results - which she accomplished in a weekend while we were away.”
