“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

“Frustrated with my patio and the rusting wrought iron furniture I never used, I desperately needed some help. That's when I met Eva, from Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC. She made suggestions as to what type of furniture to buy, designed a layout, and helped me choose beautiful plant containers. That was just the beginning, since our original encounter, Eva and her team come over every season and fill the containers with flowers and plants, creating new and beautiful scenes. I am always impressed, and always look forward to what she'll come up with next. My favorite thus far may be this past Fall, my planters were filled with mums, kale, and chili peppers, among other things! She is extremely talented, uniquely artistic, and a pleasure to work with.”

“I wanted a unique Brooklyn backyard that was striking and pleasing. Something that maximized its size, shape, sun and shade. I believe that was accomplished to the max. FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard. “I have had the pleasure to know Bebe (Gardens by Design) for over 20 years. She has transformed my gardens into displays of artwork. She tirelessly designs, picks out planting’s and many other details which are too numerous to mention. She does it all. Her staff also maintain my gardens better than I can. What sets her apart from anyone else is she is always thinking of how the design will affect or compliment the environment. She uses all organic organisms to solve any pest issues that may arise. “Very professional. Very responsive to phone calls and emails. I had Julie come out and take a look at my yard for a possible patio. She gave me a reasonable quote with ideas on what to do with the patio and the layout. Other people I contacted just came in, said "this is the quote" and left. Julie took the time to say "you dont need this large of a patio, if you do it this big, we can save you money and it will still look great". I also had her come plant some bushes. She gave me a quote on removing the old bushes but said it would be cheaper for me to hire someone who has the machinery to remove the bushes rather than her rent the machine. Having someone who can tell you that gave me the confidence that I know she is looking out for me, and not her bottom line. That is why I am definitely using her for all my landscaping needs.”
