“We engaged Amanda at Space Designs to come up with a landscaping design for our upcoming knock-down rebuild project on Sydney's northern beaches. Unlike a couple of other landscape designers we'd spoken to previously, her ideas were practical and sensible for our block and impending new home, while still being interesting and attractive. Apart from someone in their office being a bit over-zealous in chasing up the final payment the well before the design was finalised, they've been great to deal with. Their design cost was reasonable and Amanda was able to come and see us at short notice. Will also shortly be asking them for their recommendations re landscape contractors and are confident we can trust their judgement. Really looking forward to how it's going to turn out in real life!”

“We couldn't be happier with the transformation of our once very uninspiring backyard to a visually inspiring garden that we love to spend time in. Throughout several consultations, Steve took the time to determine what was important to us (a low maintenance garden that provided some privacy and could withstand the antics of 2 large dogs) whilst taking into account our budget limitations and also provided great ideas and advice on how this could be done. The conceptual plan that Steve created, provided an inspiring basis for the design of the landscaping. We loved the idea of the "sexy" Eco organic pavers which were arranged to detract from the squareness of the exisitng pavers and further softened the edges by planting mondo grass. A variety of plants were placed around the perimeter to give a multi layered appearance and formed a backdrop to the curved edges of a patch of lush Sir Walter Buffalo. Steve ensured all work was carried out as per the plan and even rolled up his sleeves and mucked in on the hottest day to ensure the plants didn't perish during the planting stage. Even then his enthusiasm didn't waver. Credit and thanks to Steve for a job well done.”

“Two years after our tenant moved out of our first investment property, we decided to renovate it over the Christmas 2015/16 break. Through Flower Power, we were referred to Designascape. Lynne came out to scope the backyard and within a few days had provided a plant list and landscaping layout. Lynne was mindful of our minimal budget and worked to maximise the backyard space to achieve a contemporary, yet unique look. She suggested including low maintenance native Australian grasses and plants to suit future tenants. She also provided options should our budget increase in the future, which we felt was a value add to her service. Lynne also provided wonderful after service support, such as queries on how to properly prepare and maintain the garden. We highly recommend Lynne from Designascape to advise on landscaping solutions.”
