Josh's design skills are exceptional; every project I have seen is stunning. His ability to move between styles proves his dedication to his craft. “Paradise Designs just completed my backyard remodel. I could not be happier! Our designer, Paul Daniels, listened carefully to our needs and came up with a plan that kept costs down and reused plants and pavers already on site. We had a tight budget but the finished result feels luxurious to me. I was very impressed at how easy Paul and his crew made the whole process. He was there often to oversee the project and his crew was polite and worked very quickly. They installed an automatic watering system, built a retaining wall and steps, created a combination paver/gravel patio and planted a wide variety of succulents and other low-water plants. It is beautiful and easy to take care of. We got a lot of bids but Paul's design was by far the best and I could tell in the interview process that he was a very knowledgeable professional. I am so thrilled with my new backyard. A friend who is a real estate agent asked how much we spent--when I told him, he said that we had just added twice that price to the value of our home. Better quality of life and increased home value? You just can't ask for more.”

“Ray completely designed our front and back yard including all hardscape and softscape. We wanted to put in a pool and complete outdoor living environment in our back yard, and upgrade our front yard / driveway to enrich the entire look of the property. He did a phenomenal job on the Design. We went back a forth a couple of times till we settled on exactly what we wanted. He was great at presenting us with options to fit our budget. And, he monitored the contractor during implementation which was a big help. Ray took personal pride in every detail. He has a passion for quality and settled for nothing less that perfection. We recently had to move and sell our property. I have to say our yard sold the house and we made a 100% return on our investment in our yard. I cannot recommend Ray high enough.”

“We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

“We moved from out of state and purchased a brand new home near the beach. Having to landscape the front and backyard of our new home seemed overwhelming. We fortunately met Ryan and his team of professionals. They designed our landscaping beyond our expectations, doubling the size of our balcony to achieve better ocean views for entertaining and including tons of natural stone and incredible design elements throughout. Ryan did everything he promised to and more. We were so excited about our new yard and working with Altera that we had them add a swimming pool, spa, and fire pit immediately after the job was complete. One thing that stands out in my mind was we had an issue with the Home Owners Association not allowing us to have access from the rear of our property that was needed to build the pool and Ryan went as far as getting his lawyer involved and handled every detail needed, without any cost to us. Ryan is honest, dependable, professional, dedicated, a perfectionist, always returns our calls and personally comes out himself to check any issues that arise even months after the job was complete. He helped us with warranty issues on the pool, as well. Best landscape company out there. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.”

“We completed our custom home in February of 2018 and our favorite part is of the landscaping. Drew was able to create a beautiful and cohesive design that incorporated all of the areas we wanted without compromising the flow of our yard. Our home has been published three different times and the backyard is always at the for front, as our home wraps around the pool and outdoor space. Even though it's been five years since our home was completed the design is still current and timeless. I have since changed some of the interior furniture and Drew and Danny helped me refresh my yard. I wouldn't do a project without them. They are truly the best! Robin Strickler”
