The deck in our back of our house was an urgent need of replacement. We posted our requirements on the one flare website and received a number of responses, one of which was from Joe Whiteside (Blayd Architectured Landscape). Of the 3 quotes we received, it was immediately apparent to us that Joe was the most professional. He was thorough in scoping the job, clear in his advice and full of great ideas. Importantly, Joe was realistic in relation to the size of the job and the time it would take to complete. We quickly build a very good connection with him and he struck us as a man of integrity: honest and dependable. We therefore decided to go with him even though others had quoted a lower price. It turned out to be the best decision we made. Joe and his on-site team were excellent. They were hard workers, very tidy, caring and very pleasant to deal with. They took great pride in the quality of the work. Variations that we sought to the original spec were not only met without complaint, but at no extra charge. Also, very pleasingly, Joe provided us with high quality written progress reports, together with photographs, at the end of each week setting out exactly what had been achieved and what tasks were remaining. The final result was a beautifully constructed Travertine Alfresco, delivered to our satisfaction, on time and on budget. We will continue our relationship with Blayd. We have no hesitation in recommending Blayd to those looking for professionalism, thoroughly, pleasant people and quality work for a fair price.
