Cannot recommend Sam and the team from Christies Landscapes more highly. After years of wondering how to best make use of the space in our backyard, I contacted Sam for advice. He listened to our needs, understood how we wanted to use the space and then designed a custom plan that absolutely nailed it first time. For such a large project which included a pool, patio, decking, stone paving, lighting and more, the process was seamless. Sam's communication is outstanding with lots of regular updates and work carried out exactly when he said it would be. The team were a pleasure to have on site - all super friendly and the quality of workmanship across all trades is top notch. The end result has exceeded our expectations in every way and our only regret is not doing it sooner. If you're thinking about a landscaping project, don't think twice about contacting Christies.

Sam put paving around my pool as well as a pool fence and 44 square metres of grass. He is professional and provides quality work. He was responsive and is a good communicator.

Our backyard was designed and constructed by Christies Landscapes and what a transformation. Our neighbours have said our backyard looks like a resort! Sam listened to what I wanted, and designed a very inviting and beautiful backyard, better than anything I could have imagined. Throughout the construction, I was kept up to date with the progress. Everything was always kept clean and tidy at the end of the day. Communication was easy with Sam, he always got back to me quickly and nothing was ever too much, he even completed some extras for us not on the inital design which was such a great help and really appreciated. Sam and the team have great attention to detail and provide a high quality finish, you won't be disappointed. We're very happy to have found Christies Landscapes to create such an amazing space for us.

What to say about Sam and his team? A review couldn’t do it justice, but I will try. We had dreamt of landscaping our gardens for many years, I started the process over three years ago. I had many people come over to our place, say the job wasn’t possible, say there was no access so no one will do it. Others quoted through the roof, others never got back to me. I found Christies (or rather they found me) via a simple Facebook ad. I filled out the form and Sam responded very promptly and was soon at our place looking at the yards and discussing what we could do. He was very collaborative and helpful with ideas. The tight access was never thought of as too much of a problem. ‘Just means we’ll have to use a smaller digger’ he said. Straight away, he lifted our mood as he was the first one who hadn’t complained about the access. We found the quote very reasonable for what we thought was a huge job. He even let us pick and choose things to get rid of in the interest of saving some money here and there. There was never a worry about that. Eventually we locked it in and the work started. His team were all so friendly, professional and extremely hard working and efficient. I couldn’t believe how much they got done in the first day or two! My kids loved watching the diggers out the window and the guys always waved back at the kids, dozens of times per day. More importantly, the quality of the work was phenomenal. We had a very sloped backyard, which was not practical for kids. They flattened the yard, split it into two levels with large retaining walls, paved areas, garden beds and built a set of stairs off our deck. We are so incredibly happy with the outcome. It’s almost exactly what the 3D plans look like. The front yard is beautiful too. We wanted something simple, with clean lines, lighting and minimal maintenance. They’ve delivered in spades. It looks so good and I will never have to mow out the front again! Sam is an extremely polite, respectful, responsive, creative and hard-working person. If you have a landscaping job in your future, I would highly recommend contacting Sam. I truly hope this review helps others to contact Christies and get the garden of your dreams.

Professional , courteous , responsive and great value is the best way to sum up Sam and the team at Christies . We had a dustbowl in the front yard and we struggled with ideas . We spoke to several other landscapers who where uninspiring and disinterested. We found Sam and all that changed he listened , he provided fresh ideas , was very responsive and accommodating when we sked for changes . They started the job when they said they would, and they finished the job when they said they would . Most importantly they changed the dust bowl in our front yard to an inviting area that compliments our new family home . Their work is of a high quality and standard , cant recommend them enough. Sam from Christies Landscaping did an excellent job doing multiple projects for us. The parking addition to our driveway with exposed aggregate looks fantastic, fencing with good advice for colour selection and the outstanding job for laying of travertine stone paving. Always happy to respond to our many questions and always left the job with materials cleared away. The stone left an awful mess from dust when cutting but the crew surprised us by washing everything down and even mopping out our undercover wooden deck area. All of the workers were polite and friendly. We would recommend Sam from Christies for all of your landscaping requirements.

We're so glad that we went with Sam and his team at Christie's Landscaping for our landscaping project!! From the start, it was clear to us that Sam is an honest and professional business owner, and he was really easy to work with. He was very accommodating of specific plant requests and design changes. He and his team also worked through some really challenging conditions on our block with drainage and the added restrictions through lockdown and other COVID regulations. They did this with a strong work ethic and a no fuss attitude, even when issues arose, their experience really showed. The team is really skilled with the hardscaping elements, and even though we had a minor installation issue, they were quick to follow up and implement the fix. Sam is a great project manager, and was able to quickly find a new fencing specialist to fast track the job completion. The overall transformation to our property has been mind blowing and we're so grateful to Christie's Landscaping for making our house feel complete.

Would highly recommend Christie's Landscapes to anyone in ACT/Queanbeyan area. We were very satisfied with Sam and his team from start to finish. Really prompt call back from initial enquiry, sound advice, and excellent communication and punctuality throughout the job. Christies Lanscapes did a terrific job of about 90 sqm of limestone paving around a new pool area in a non-straightforward layout. A really great finish that we're very happy with.
