A huge thank you to the Contemporary Landscaping team for the wonderful transformation of our back and front gardens. They’ve gone from boring big lawns to gorgeous green oases which we enjoy every day. Troy was fantastic to work with – from our vague ideas to creating delightful spaces which everyone admires. The team worked very hard over several weeks to transform our gardens and we are very appreciative of the attention to detail and care they took.

5 star all the way. With all the horror stories you read and hear we consider ourselves very lucky to have chosen Contemporary Landscaping to build our pool. Troy and his team; Craig, Ian, Robbo and Nick were a pleasure to work with - they turned up when they said they would and did what they said they would, all in a professional manner, nothing was too much hassle. We have a tight, sloping site and they did some beautiful work building stone retaining walls and came up with an innovative way to install compliant fencing on the slope. The only slight hiccup was with a tiling subcontractor - but when I raised my concerns Troy got rid of him and his team came in and did the work and we are very happy with the result - great customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone considering the installation of a pool.

We found Troy & the whole Contemporary Landscaping team very accommodating. Troy listened to what we wanted for our atrium area & worked with us to make it work. Although the water feature & atrium area was only a small job, which was worked in between other jobs, we were always kept up to date as to when to expect them. Photos attached are the atrium area during build completion, atrium area just after Contemporary Landscaping job completion & now about a year & a half on. We would definitely recommend the team at Contemporary Landscaping.

Contemporary Landscaping are truly professional team that consider your requirements carefully and provides a clearly explained program to complete the project. Contemporary's work is of the best quality. I have no hesitation in recommending Troy and his staff.

From the initial concept design through to completion, this was a great experience. We engaged Contemporary Landscaping prior to even commencing the house so we could get a full understanding of the overall building budget. They provided the design plan based on our discussions and ideas, provided a detailed quote and flexibility to alter and change the design to suite our budget. Once Contemporary landscaping commenced onsite it was a great experience from start to finish, and the professionalism shown from the whole team was fantastic. Nothing was a problem and even with a few last minute changes it was done without delaying the finish date. We would recommend (and already have) to anyone looking for a great landscaping project.

I cannot recommend Troy and his team highly enough. From the very first contact to completion of the work of my new garden, Troy has been reliable, professional, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. Troy interpreted my requests and ideas and delivered a design that was exactly what I was looking for. Troy was very patient and accommodating when I changed the scope on a number of occasions and when he had to reschedule start dates due to my pool company being behind schedule. The work was carried out timeously, quickly and by a great team who were friendly and went the extra mile. I have no hesitation in recommending Troy – you won’t be disappointed!

This has been the third time we have hired Troy Douglas within the past two years. Previous projects covered general landscaping,paving and edging. The recent job required the demolition and reconstruction of a retaining wall. As with previous work this was completed on time and on budget. Troy uses a very good team, variations made along the were incorporated without fuss, nothing was too much trouble. We found his advice and professionalism admirable. Well done team.

Contemporary Landscaping did a brilliant job at our new home on the Sunshine Coast. Their work is of the highest standard and they are able to integrate a wide variety of skills including pool tiling/fencing, boundary fences and borders, lawns and planting. They do all this and maintain a friendly and personable manner each day. Many thanks to Troy and his team for a job well done!

We recently had Troy and the team install 2 paths in random stone at our new home. They did an excellent job and its look terrific, even better than we expected. The boys where a pleasure to deal with left the site clean and tidy, finished the job on time and where professional in all aspects. Its hard work and labor intensive laying the stone but the end result is worth every penny. Everyone who visits comments on how great the paths look. Would recommend them to anyone. We will be getting them back to do our pool surrounds in a few months Regards Sue and Peter

We hired Contemporary Landscaping following a rather conceptual briefing of our issues and after discussing some ideas as to how to achieve the outdoor room we were looking for. Troy took immediately to our ideas and worked up a professional landscape that provided a solution to our drainage issues, and combined elements of sandstone rock walls, sandstone paving, timber decking and seating, plants and lawn together with a water feature and gas fireplace which all work together to provide a sanctuary in our back garden. We also extended these elements to the front garden to complete the package. Troy met his deadlines and although our original budget was exceeded, this was as a result of combining ideas as we moved through the build and with our full prior agreement and consent. Troy's knowledge of local council regulations assisted with the design to ensure we stayed within council tolerances. The garden has been in place for about 15 months and is providing us with a private place to enjoy our Sunshine Coast evenings. Troy did most of the work himself with an assistant. They worked well together as a team and we would highly recommend them for their professionalism and their quality of work.
