I would not recommend this company at all. First off, we were verbally quoted 4 weeks to complete the job, contract said 8 weeks; which we understand things can take a bit longer. But here we are, 18 MONTHS later and they still haven’t completed it. They would come about once a week, for months. They left their rubbish laying everywhere. Empty bottles, lunch rubbish, broken glass, building material rubbish; treated our home like a tip. To this day we are still finding broken glass in our back yard. They tried to give us cheaper materials, when we paid for the expensive materials. Always blaming the office (which they outsource from the phillipines) for the mix up. They put things on the bill that they never used; extra plants, building materials, stairs that were never built and portaloo that was never brought on site. Workers broke tiles that were never replaced. They stained the wood the wrong colour that doesn’t match the rest of the house. They tiled a wall that had to be done 4 times because the tilers kept mucking it up. They took our fence and stole wood off of our property. That’s right, TOOK OUR FENCE. Luckily, they did come back and rebuilt it. And they keep sending us a bill for the completed job. And the job is NOT complete.

Very professional and quality workmanship, great result. After a few years the plantings have really matured and filled in the courtyard as intended. Very happy with the result.

I used Everscapes to do a small landscaping job for me at Moorooka. I was very impressed with the way the owner identified what was required and did a quote up for me on the spot. We were able to go through the quote together which gave me the opportunity of deciding what I needed to eliminate to keep the cost within my budget. very professionally handled from the quote to the finished job. Regular meetings on site made it very easy to make decisions when required. I am using the company again to do another small landscaping job for me starting in a couple of weeks. Once again the design was done on the spot and discussions on the plants made it easy to decide. The photos of each plant was sourced through the internet which again made it easier to envisage what was being proposed. i now provide a small consultancy service to the owner as I was very impressed with his professionalism.

The project Everscapes did for us was a total garden makeover to front and rear of our home and the installation of a large rear deck to take best advantage of the views provided. From the initial interview through the planning stages into construction we could not be any more impressed, they have been brilliant, great staff, complete communication and first class workmanship. Our garden was out of control, with shocking soil & masses of weeds. Now it’s gorgeous & so much easier to maintain. Clare & the talented team from Everscapes designed & installed a lovely cottage garden in the front of our old “Queenslander”. At the rear of the property, around the pool we now have a colourful tropical landscape - couldn’t be happier.

Our project home came with basic landscaping i.e. fences and grass. As we do not have a view we wanted a low maintenance garden to be our view and to go with Hamptons style house, also a few trees to block out view of other houses. Claire gave us plans with plants we knew and wanted, some we did not know but are extremely happy with. Ian was very pleasant to work with and did a great job on the implementing the plan which came in on quote. Six months on everything is looking good and Alistair has been a frequent visitor to follow up.

Having moved to Brisbane on retirement from Melbourne everything was wonderful except for the backyard which was a disaster. No garden to speak of either at the front or back. I have found A@R Evergreen to be very professional and helpful in all my communications with them. From expert design to execution of the plans for both front and backyards everything was in a very professional, transparent and timely way. Excellent follow up and an openness for discussion throughout the process. I now have a beautiful tropical front that the neighbours comment on and an oasis of green which thoroughly enjoy every day. Good day, I hired A & R Evergreen after searching online for a landscaping company, I had several companies come to my home and quote on my project, and I found A & R Evergreen's quote to be in the mid range, it was neither the cheapest nor was it the most expensive, but decided to hire them anyhow. Other factors (outside price) that influenced my deciding to hire A & R Evergreen for my project was their website; which showcased several top quality projects done by them in the past, that they had been featured in an outdoor living magazine; as a top designer, and in addition, are members of 'Landscape Industries Queensland'. (I also got along with Alistair Hutton when we first met which helped to sway me). It should be noted that I came to A & R Evergreen with a full picture in my mind as to what I wanted from them for the project, I explained it to their design team, and without further explanation, my project was drafted as I saw it (In my head), however, it should be said that the design team, tempered my vision with knowledgeable experience and offered suggestions as to what would make my project more visually appealing, what would be awkward and unsightly, and what was to costly to include. Once the work commenced onsite, I found that the tradesmen that A & R Evergreen had set to task, to be friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and highly skilled, they would often explain to me (an illiterate in the ways of the trades) how things are done and in what order, they clearly explained any problems that had arose and how best to deal with them. In conclusion, I can say that as the project transitioned from paper to reality, relatively smoothly, (there will always be hick-ups with any project), especially given the scope of what I wanted done, by projects end, it had become abundantly clear that A & R Evergreen was more than the good reviews and numbered stars, nor flashy web sights and glowing magazine articles, they are a team of professionals, from the design director down to the tradesmen's apprentice, providing a quality service you can trust. We experienced horrendous construction on the property beside ourselves, causing much distress and cost to us as we had to reposition our boundary and then re landscape our back yard to draw attention away from the hideous tennis court built right on our fence line. From the moment Claire entered my property, I knew I had made the right choice. Claire's knowledge of plants, design and attention to detail is 2nd to none. Alistair's experience, knowledge, patience, kindness commitment to us was actually amazing. He took everything in his stride, was never rude to me when I changed my mind (alot), and was always eager to pursue different ideas. The day Alistair turned up on my doorstep for a site meeting with a coffee and brownie blew me away. The whole A&R Evergreen team were always efficient, hardworking and extremely friendly... not only tolerating my dog(s), but entertaining them on their breaks. I walk into my back yard now and whilst I'm still desperate for my trees to grow to hide that tennis court, I am at peace. Thank you guys, I will never choose anyone different, you are stuck with me now.

Very prompt professional quote, started the job on time, finished ahead of schedule, used surplus materials to landscape additional parts of the garden and only went $40 over budget after buying plants for the additional landscaped areas. Highly recommended.

From the initial meeting to the completion of the work it was a great experience working with Alistair and his team. They worked with me to develop a project that ticked all my boxes while fitting within a limited budget. I could not be happier with the outcome. All those who worked on my site were professional and approachable and kept me in the loop regarding progress of the work. The project took slightly longer than estimated but this was mainly due to unavoidable weather delays. I would not hesitate to use this team again for future projects.
