Alex Mavrodis (Director of Lush Landshaping) has a passion to live life in the garden. He originally came from IT industry with over 15 years of experience in sales, customer support, management and compliance. Alex then decided to start his own gardening business in 2007 to seek new challenges in life in running his own business, working outdoors and ACTUALLY getting to see first hand - REAL Value of appreciation from Customers of work getting done. He got such a buzz when he saw the clients face lit up (especially the elderly and time poor) that his Motto in Lush Landshaping is Gardens that are beautifully maintained for people to enjoy. Together with hard work, he then seeked qualification in the horticulture field to edge his business from the competition to get a better understanding on gardening pest and diseases, pruning periods, weed identification and treatment. This also allowed Alex to know the name of the plant which was quite embarrassing to rely on by a 95 yrs old client, Beverly. Future Direction: Lush Landshaping is currently growing and expanding. We have several contractors on board full time, All with working with children compliance and police check, 7 days a week to cater for our customer's property maintenance and outdoor design needs. The business itself is evolving from referral work from our existing customers, networking within the community and strong marketing. Types of Clients: Lush Landshaping have many different types of clients, ranging from residential, commercial and strata works. This includes approximately 150 regular customers including clients with multi million dollar homes, schools, low to high income earners, local strata companies and commercial properties within the market.
