Featured Reviews for Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners

The Sculpted Earth
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
26February,2016
“This company designed and installed a totally new garden for us, including a fountain and pebble stream. We loved the design, we now love our front garden and our neighbor's comment on how beautiful it is all the time. The work was timely and it was a great experience. Highly recommend them!!”
Reynolds Landscape LLC
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
1November,2014
“We have hired Jim Reynolds and his crew two times, once for a small (but heavy) job bringing in a lot of big boulders and placing them, and the second project was for all the landscaping for our new home in Bellevue. What a great team, all working towards a beautiful (and useful fire pit) goal - our landscaped home.”
ForeverLawn Bellevue
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
8March,2018
“I would, without any hesitation, reccomend, refer, and endorse this company. First class treatment from start to completion. We were given multiple product options, with a quality explanation of each. We actually chose 2 styles, Appearance for our Front Lawn and K9 for our back yard. We were given a timeline for installation, which they completed early. We are completely satisfied and very happy with the results.”
Lake Forest Landscape Co. LLC
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
11October,2019
“Barrett did a superb job for us by designing and coordinating the work for our landscape project. He was always prompt to respond to any of my questions and his original/practical design ideas worked perfectly with our property! Our new patio, water feature and fire pit are amazing! I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to renovate their landscape!”
Hedahl Landscape Deck & Patio
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
6March,2017
“Our Lawn had serious water retention issues. Hedahl Landscaping added gravel to the lawn areas that were the worst. The water now flows away form these areas and we don't have the spongy muddy areas any more. They also installed a block wall to level out the lawn. Both jobs were done exceptionally well and we are totally satisfied with their work.”
Green Spaces Landscaping
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
2January,2014
“We found Green Spaces on Houzz in the fall and contacted them and two others. As soon as we met our designer we knew that they understood what we wanted. They designed a new walkway, front yard planting, and a great backyard retreat. The project was below our budget. The stone mason crews were top notch and very professional. They completed a week ahead of the original wrap up date. Our family loved the space and Christmas and we are very pleased. We look forward to working them in the near future.”
Proscapes
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
28February,2018
“We love the work ProScapes does! We have had them come build rock walls and do decorative concrete patios at both homes we have owned. Beautiful! Highly recommend, they were fast and quality.”
Vertumni Fine Landscaping
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
16December,2014
“We were very happy with Vertumni services. They were competent, professional, responsive. They did great work, with good ideas for design and beautiful installation. I'd highly recommend them.”
Pacific Paver Co
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
7November,2019
“We contacted Pacific Pavers to do a walkway, small retaining wall and some steps on a steep grade. Rick was very responsive and we were able to meet up the next day. Rick was helpful with design ideas and we agreed on a price and start date. Rick and his crew showed up on time and did a great job over the multi-day project. Crew was easy to have at our home, very nice and worked hard, did a great clean-up each day. Job completed, very happy with the job done!”
Living Earth Landscapes
Seattle Landscape Contractors and Gardeners
27August,2019
“We recently hired Bill Bowlus with Living Earth Landscapes to design our front yard and are extremely pleased with the result. We had some ideas (add several large boulders, use only plants that are easy maintenance with open mulched space in between), but didn’t know how to put it all together. The fact that we wanted to bring in large boulders complicated the process for us since not all landscapers who can suggest and arrange nice plants are also adept at bringing in and placing large boulders. Since the two processes would have to be coordinated before placing large rocks, we needed one person who could handle it all. What we liked about Bill: 1) His design ability. He listened to what we wanted (besides our ideas, we had some photos from yards we’d seen) and designed it even better than we had envisioned. He sent several plant and tree lists for us to choose from and we had lots of questions about these which he patiently answered after our various trips to different nurseries to see them in person. He brought out the larger plants and we worked together on placing these and marking the spaces for large rocks until we agreed on the design. The day of the rock placement (with large cranes), Bill expertly directed the placement, tuning rocks on their sides and digging them in to look like they were naturally protruding from a hillside and seeming larger than they were, thus we were able to get by with smaller rocks that still looked significant. 2) His plant knowledge. Though we had our own ideas, Bill was able to help us stick with just plants that are known to be currently successful in our climate while still meeting our criteria for the look we were after. He adds new plants and drops off old plants from his suggestion list based on how harsh the winters have been lately (the snow last year made him drop a few items from the list). I liked knowing we were getting the hardiest specimens that met our criteria since I don’t want to have to baby any plants. He steered us away from trees we’d seen in neighbors’ yards because the size they would get in our timeframe would not work well. 3) His reasonable prices. We had gotten another bid and we were having trouble getting back in touch with the contractor whose price was higher (and whose ideas we didn’t care for). Bill gave us a price range for each of our 3 separate bids (we added on a nice flagstone path and a separate drip irrigation system) and the final prices for each were always in the middle—and usually closer to the lower end of the range--for each of the 3 projects. The cost for the landscaping, including rocks, trees, plants and of course the design work, was $9500. We opted to add on the path later since we felt the price for the landscaping was reasonable. 4) His quick response to questions. We’ve worked with various contractors who drive you crazy by not getting back to you in a timely manner, especially when you need information to make a time-sensitive decision. Bill was great about answering questions quickly so we could proceed. We would highly recommend Bill for any of your landscape design needs.”
