“Gillian is a very approachable designer who really takes the time to learn what your style likes and dislikes are. She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“The experience we had having Carmen from Collaborative interiors designing our house was beyond words but I’m going to try and do it justice in this review all the same. From the very start, we found Carmen was open to our ideas, our lifestyle and suggestions. She contributed to the layout of the rooms in the preliminary drawing of plans in a manner that allowed us to have the living area we always desired. Given that our renovation happened during the middle of the COVID mayhem didn’t make it easy to procure products and Carmen ensured everything we chose arrived and on time. Every part of our house has been designed tastefully and with us in mind. Furthermore, every room connects to another from a design perspective giving the overall effect of cohesion. Carmen was always a pleasure to work with, amenable to change of ideas on our part and always available when we panicked over things, with her ready, reassuring presence. Overall, I can say the the ‘proof of the pudding’ is in the experience we are currently having living in this beautiful home. And we definitely owe that stylish, comfortable conversion of house to home to her input in this project.”

Finding solutions and inexpensive options that fitted perfectly with our design brief. The neutral colour palette compliments our solid timber flooring perfectly. The varied textures and the touches of blue have made a real difference to the cosiness of the space. However, what we love most is that you have been able to provide us with a Hampton's style that fits in with our locality. I had always thought that Hampton's meant beach style but Becc showed us how we could incorporate the best of the Hampton's without too much of the beside the ocean look. We also love the incorporation of the baskets and accessories in our guest bathroom including amazing rustic baskets and the styling of the wood stack beside our pot belly stove.
