“Very impressed with this store and staff! Their display is extensive and carries a wide range of prices and styles. We worked mainly with David Rapay who solved multiple lighting problems that came up during an overly ambitious renovation project. He sat with us in the store for hours to plan out recessed can trims, bulbs and filters - and then remembered each of the can locations and product decisions when questions came up later. He recommended specialized bulbs for wall fixtures with unusual locations and saved us money with less expensive specialized lighting options in other locations. Everyone in the store is friendly, competent and professional. This store was a real find, recommended by our contractor.”

“I was building a 3D printer and looking for the brightest LEDs I could find... I stumbled onto Flexfire LEDs, and am VERY glad I did! They have a good range of consumer grade, commercial grade, and even industrial grade LEDs. I haven't tried out the industrial grade, yet, but I can attest that the consumer & commercial grade are top notch. They are even brighter than I expected them to be and worked perfectly for how I was using them on my 3D printer build. I liked that they have a lot of accessories that are nice to have to aid in easy installation of the LEDs such as connectors/dimmers/drivers/etc. And they ship quickly to boot!”

“Art Deco Decor creates amazing, quality reproductions of lovely Art Deco lighting fixtures--chandeliers, wall sconces, lamps, etc.--bronze sculptures, and metal furniture. James Pressy, the owner of Art Deco Decor can replicate luxury pieces to your desire. If you find an Art Deco era lamp in a shop or magazine, but can't afford the price or worry about the wiring, Mr. Pressy will replicate the piece to your desire, at much less the cost of the original. The firm also restores vintage pieces, such as the Art Deco brass floor lamp that I brought for Mr. Pressy to examine. The craftsmen meticulously dismantled, cleaned, polished, and reassembled the lamp so, not only would it shine brightly, but it would not longer lean off balance. Mr. Pressy and his staff treat all customers as valued and treasured clients--they are professionals easy to work with in every sense of the word.”

“My name is Pete Armes of Armes Electric Inc.. I am an independent contractor installing the Trading Posts fans for over 20 years. I have worked directly with the owners Gil and Mark and their long time manager Kevin, and I can honestly say that you won't get better sevice and a warranty anywhere else. It is said that you are only as good as the product you sell, but the Trading Post is far better. They go out of their way to insure that they put out products that last and back them with their reputation and excellent service. Although they have over 200 fans on display, it is still hard these days to compete with the "big box" stores, but If you do your homework, you will find that David sells a much more, functional, quieter, better backed product than Goliath. I'm proud to be affiliated with a company that has grown my business on their great standards and look forward to more satisfied customers.”

“I'm so proud to be the first (and only?) person in Minnesota to own not one, but two, Urban Chandy's. After searching for months through every known source of lighting, I stumbled upon this gifted artist. One phone call, a couple of pictures of a kitchen remodel and within a week I had the perfect lighting for the dining area. In the past year every single visitor to my home has been awestruck by the simplicity and beauty of my fixtures. During the holidays it was adorned with fresh greens and made to be even more spectacular. The vintage unpolished crystals in the smaller fixture add a whole other dimension. With that project complete I'm scheming for other places to put a new Urban Chandy. For those concerned about passing electrical inspections, the State of Minnesota inspector didn't have any concerns and neither did the master electricians who did the installation. Cassidy's artistic sense absolutely makes my kitchen complete and "it should be in a magazine" is what I always hear. Can't recommend more strongly.”

“We have had a wonderful experience working with Dana Creath. We put an addition on our house and I came across their lighting fixtures on Houzz. I contacted them and it was a pleasure from start to delivery. They showed professionalism, email replies were same day and provided knowledge when we needed assistance. Their products have superior quality and style you do not see often. Currently we were in need of a special piece and they helped us to design and create it within budget. The photo below shows the modified lanterns, sconces on the built in window and part of chandelier we purchased. The room is not completely finished will add more pictures when complete.”
