Sarah Tracton is building a reputation for using innovative techniques to create bespoke lighting that is functional, beautiful and mood-enhancing. Sarah uses Australian- made porcelain clays for their distinctive translucent qualities to create her handcrafted artisanal pieces. When paired with LEDs, this material delivers iridescent and warm marbleised lighting. A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Sarah uses a niche slip/slab technique of handcrafting her lights, honed from hundreds of hours of intensive studio practice. In combining traditional craft processes with new LED technologies, her lighting achieves innovations of cordless design, combining beauty with functionality. Her process meet circular economy standards, adhering to 'slow clay' eco-friendly sustainable practices. Please contact Sarah for a chat about your bespoke project.
