“Gillian is a very approachable designer who really takes the time to learn what your style likes and dislikes are. She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“The experience we had having Carmen from Collaborative interiors designing our house was beyond words but I’m going to try and do it justice in this review all the same. From the very start, we found Carmen was open to our ideas, our lifestyle and suggestions. She contributed to the layout of the rooms in the preliminary drawing of plans in a manner that allowed us to have the living area we always desired. Given that our renovation happened during the middle of the COVID mayhem didn’t make it easy to procure products and Carmen ensured everything we chose arrived and on time. Every part of our house has been designed tastefully and with us in mind. Furthermore, every room connects to another from a design perspective giving the overall effect of cohesion. Carmen was always a pleasure to work with, amenable to change of ideas on our part and always available when we panicked over things, with her ready, reassuring presence. Overall, I can say the the ‘proof of the pudding’ is in the experience we are currently having living in this beautiful home. “We have just completed our second bathroom designed and project managed by JPWK Design, and we couldn't be happier. The principal took a very thorough brief and was able to translate our vision; style preferences and budget into two beautiful contemporary spaces. Whilst both slightly different, the design, tiles format, layout and fixtures have a lovely synergy assuring they both sit beautifully in our home. The use of lighting was also a very effective feature of the design. JPWK Design clearly retains quality trades who work as a team. The build was to schedule, very un-intrusive and our home was protected and kept clean throughout the demo and build. The attention to detail, focus on practicality/quality and flexibility with the ‘unexpected’ in an older house, was very much appreciated. All our questions were answered promptly and we felt we were always listened to. The end product is two lovely bathrooms on which we get numerous compliments. “I reached out to Perrie with a view to updating the interiors of our home including some structural design. Perrie met with us, listened to our broad view of what we wanted to do, asked a lot of questions to draw out the key elements for each room and understand the colours we liked and the look and furniture we were attracted to. Perrie spent considerable time upfront confirming the brief, discussing her ideas and laying out the timing, budget and path of the project and used her industry contacts and connections to present different quotes and options including furniture selection, combinations of colour, texture and room layouts. Her experience in the industry also meant she was able to pass on considerable discounts ! We replaced our stair balustrades which completely modernised our home and allowed more light in. Perrie designed custom joinery for the theatre room and study which has signicantly increased the usage and functionality of these areas. Perrie coordinated all trades and ensured that everything was finished to the highest quality and was as per the agreed spec/ design. Perrie was extremely organised, communicated every part of the project extremely well and kept us on target for making decisions. Above all Perrie was incredibly patient and able to listen to and interpret and guide us in working out exactly what we wanted to achieve.
